Looking for a relaxing get away without compromising location? Steeple View, on tree-lined Oglethorpe Avenue, is located in one of Savannah's most desirable locations in the heart of Savannah's downtown historic district. Recently renovated, you'll enjoy all of the modern luxuries one could hope for with remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, and stunning hardwood floors! Take the elevator to the top floor of this historic building, built in 1923. The tastefully designed kitchen offers plenty of cooking space with brand new stainless steel appliances. Just across from the kitchen, you'll find the designated dining space that opens up to the living room. The dining table seats four or is expandable for up to six Lucky guests. The living room is furnished with a sofa that converts into a comfortable Queen bed. A large flat screen television with App streaming access has also been conveniently placed in this space. A full bathroom with shower/tub combo sits just off of the living room. The primary bedroom can be found just past the living room and offers a King bed, flat screen television, writing desk, ample amount of closet space, and steeple views. Guests will enjoy an ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo that has been tastefully remodeled. The second bedroom on the other side of the apartment has a beautifully planted window box under a large window that fills the room with natural light, and also has a comfy King size bed, a flat screen television, a writing desk, and a spacious closet. Top spot with great views on a beautiful street, place was so clean and is something that’s very important to me. The property itself is even better than the building it’s in. Brand new amenities. Everything you could need or want to do in Savannah all right at your fingertips!

Very nice place. Great location. Easy parking. Negative- could hear ALL the street noise and people walking by ALL night as if there were no windows, despite 2 sound machines. Both king beds are 2 joined twins. Felt crack between us, but manager was quick to send matress topper which helped significantly. Would stay there again if these were fixed.

This apartment was perfect for the 5 of us. Parents and 3 grown daughters (college aged.) It was cute and had everything we needed for our 4 night Savannah stay. We loved the proximity to the riverfront and Forsyth park.

Great central location--you can walk easily to all attractions. However if you are looking for a quiet getaway, this is not it. High and loud traffic area at all hours.

This is a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath unit that was ideal for us in terms of space. It is a bit noisy, not during the day, but rather at night due to motorcycles and revelers on the street. Earplugs can mitigate the problem, but upgraded windows would be a big improvement, as would replacement of a plastic temporary sash. Lobby spaces could benefit from a facelift, and a railing is sorely needed at the lobby stairs. Note that check in time is relatively late and Lucky Savannah charges $100 if you want to check in earlier—a rather off-putting option. These things notwithstanding, we appreciated the central location and had an enjoyable stay.

The location of the property is right in the heart of the historic district. This was a girls getaway. Loved having 2 bedrooms and baths for our stay. The condo was well appointed. We chose to walk/uber which worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

The unit was very comfortable and well equipped. The property is centrally located with easy walking to all tourist attractions. We have stayed here twice now on "girl" trips and felt very safe. We hope to return for a third stay!!

Property was very nice. Clean and nicely updated. It is in an area that has a lot of traffic, so there is road noise. Parking was an issue with trying to pay on time in the meter. The meter had issues at times. It is rather difficult to carry luggage in if you have anyone with mobility issues.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Steeple View Loft, the inside of the unit was very clean and spacious and the location was great, convenient to everything. The lobby and elevators were definitely dated, and the check in process of finding the key at the door was a bit tricky, but none of those things would prevent us from staying there again. The one major obstacle that we feel is worth mentioning is the traffic noise, especially that the area is apparently frequented by drag racers or altered vehicles that seem to plague the road downstairs. They do kindly provide noise machines to leave on at night, but it is something that prevented us from giving this a 5 star rating, although the owners can't really help that.

Loved this property. Very clean and nicely decorated. Beautiful old windows to view the street below. The sound machines helped tremendously with street noise. The only negatives were trying to find the building bc address is not what is on outside of the building. Parking was a tad difficult as all of the on street was full when we arrived. We had to wait on a space to open up so we could unload the car. Despite those minor details, I would stay again and property was centrally located which made it easy to walk to all of the places we wanted to go. Super close to Collin’s Quarter and Husk.

Two bedroom condo was clean and almost perfect. Location was great. A few issues for our group. No hand rail on the inside stairs. Extremely difficult for my friend's wife who had back surgery in September. There were some empty cups on the inside stairway that were there during our whole stay. Never did get the TV to work correctly. All in all a great four days.

The Steeple View was perfect. Walking distance to everything. Saturday night was a problem parking which would be expected since everyone is out that night. We read about the noise at night but that could happen in any place in that location. We were very pleased with everything.

A great property in a very convenient location. Excellent furnishings, with Bosch kitchen appliances. Would rent this place again. Two items were a problem for us seniors: no handrail on the inside steps up to the lobby and no bath mats or anti-slip spots on the bottom of either tub/shower.

Beautiful space on the top floor. There is an elevator which made it nice for my 81 year old mother.
Beds were both king size and comfortable. The sofa folds down in to a bed. A bit hard, but I slept well.
Less than .5 miles to any walking tour we took. Close to catch the dot bus. Be careful, there is no level walking sidewalks in the city. My mom took a spill and we spent our last evening at the hospital getting bandaged up.
Overall a beautiful place to stay. We absolutely loved the space. Highly reccomend.

I cannot say enough about the location of this condo. Absolutely in the heart of everything. The recommendations offered by the owner were extremely helpful and the amenities within the condo were perfect.
The only thing to be prepared for is that the condo is on a busier street and even though it is on the third floor, much of the street noise carries through. The owner had white noise generators in each room which did help compensate.

Steeple View Loft was exactly as seen in photos. The owners utilized every sqft in the home. It was a group of 4 ladies and we all loved it! The location was perfect! We didn’t use our vehicle at all.

The property we rented was great. Location perfect for walking everywhere. Directions to location of property not clear and when we called Lucky for assistance they directed us to the wrong unit and check us in to it. Once we realized it was not correct we called and a new representative guided us top the correct property in same building. It was a great trip and a great place!

Had a wonderful 3 days in this beautiful unit. It's decor is lovely and very well appointed. We only had one little glitch. Locating the key box in the dark and trying to enter the code in the dark did not start our stay out to a hood beginning. However, all's well that ends well. Had a marvelous stay!

Pristine property with quality appliances, furniture, beds/bedding, and kitchen supplies. Great reading material! Third floor apt on busy corner so can get noisy. We found the 400 E. York Street Parking Garage which was very convenient. This should be added to the listing. Fetching parking passes between certain hours of the day from another garage and then searching for a parking place near the SCAD dormitory seemed onerous. We would stay here again!

Pristine property with quality appliances, furniture, beds, and bedding. Every amenity conceivable was available, including great reading material. Third floor apt is on busy corner so it can be loud in the morning and evening - but it does get quiet at night. We would stay here again. Let guests know about the Parking Garage 400 E York street. Wonderful Loft! Super clean and had just about all you would need for a girls weekend away. Suggestion for hooks in the bathroom. Very centrally located we parked and did not use the car all weekend and we felt like we saw a lot in the historic district, we walked everywhere.
Saturday night got a little loud down on the street after the bars closed. We did use the noise machine, it helped. Great rental, I would come back for sure!
