Malhonnête et malsain

L’emplacement

Mis à part les femmes d’entretien, une catastrophe ! On les dérange : ils regardent la télé . Ils viennent à vous pour vous vendre une excursion. La clim doit être une décoration, on attend encore le technicien. Et le pire, des avances par l’une des personne du personnel, je parle bien de propositions directes et pas d’une drague! Nous avons souhaité quitter cet endroit, possible dans le contrat, mais pas en réalité. Nous sommes habitués à voyager simplement mais pas à la supercherie !

Basic and no nonsense

Very bad experience.

Beach was ok.

No alcohol served. The bungolov I stayed had no air condition. The bathroom was awful. No electricity outside of the bungalov. When you walk to the room you open your phone light. Internet was served only in restaurant area, no internet in the rooms. No shampoo, no soap.... I have arrived in the afternoon and left the next morning. Asked for refund but rejected. So bad experience I had.

nice silent beach front for good sea side fun

its a beach front . next to other beach fronts on Jambiani beach . pleasant view and solitude as per the taste. good for tourist with mobility for gettings things if required from the nearby shops and restaurants .

Nice stay with the sound of the ocean

- stunning view on the ocean - on the beach - delicious and full breakfast - comfortable bed - helpful staff

- cleaning service could be better (come on time when requested, leave toilet paper every time, change bedding every time, not clean while talking on the phone with someone - it is making cleaning much longer...) - water pressure or temperature was not perfect all the time

Amazing beach with beautiful sandbank.

The location is stunning, right at the beautiful beach of Jambiani, near the spectacular sand bank. The value for money is very good, also the stuff is very friendly and goes extra mile to make sure your stay is comfortable.

Good beach accommodation in Zanzibar for a few days staying

The breakfast was good, but each day was the same, and the service was little bit slow. The food we ordered for lunch and dinner was very tasty, but the service can be developed. The houses are very close to the beach.

Good accommodation on the beach if you have limited budget

The best thing was that the bungallows are directly on the beach. The staff was helpful, the breakfast and the food (you can order food for dinner and lunch) were very tasty and good value.

The service could be more professional (e.g. during our stay (3 days) there were not cleaning in the room, the service in the reataurant were a little bit slow).

Hidden rustic gem no the beach

Blue Earth Bungalow was a hidden gem if you like an inexpensive, rustic environment, no crowds or tourists, then this is the place for you. The workers got you anything that you needed and we're very helpful at all times. This place while a little hard to find but it was right on the beach. Lots of good local restaurants with good traditional food.

The wifi was spotty but then this is Zanibar and not Europe or the USA so we did expect it. The only other problem was that the drain in our room ran a little slow but other than that everything was fine.

Good

This was exactly the isolated, relaxed sort of place that I was looking for. Situated on a quiet beach in the south of Zanzibar, facing the Indian Ocean with a wonderful warm breeze. The staff was friendly and I had a nice night watching the AFCON matches in the social/eating area. They upgraded me to one of the beach facing bungalows as well.

Its a fairly rustic place which came with all the associated factors such as lots of bugs in my room and a morning of shaking ants out of my bag. The location on google maps is not correct either and I had to ask around to actually find the place.

Despite some issues, the overall stay was pleasant.

As everywhere else on the island, improvements and repairs are needed. and insulation. and a new power generator

Exceptional

We have enjoyed the place a lot, location is simply amazing, close to the sea, in the quite area. All guys took care of us really well, help us with anything we needed, breakfast was good as well as all delicious food which we took there. Their chef is real master. We really recommend this place in case you look for quite place with really nice people around you.

Passable

We booked three months in advance and we had correspondence with the manager only few days before our arrival, but when we got there, only one bungalow instead of two was available. The place was old and shabby though, we did not get a good impression by arrival. We had to wait some time for a solution, which finally was very good, because we were transferred to a much better hotel with pool, without extra costs. So at the end we were very happy!

Generally, I'm satisfied of the stay at Blue Earth.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfest is alright, although every day it is the same. The bungalows are located actually on the beach.

Lack of shelves and a wardrobe in the room. There was no towel hangers in the bathroom, either. Otherwise everything was alright.

Horrible! Really dirty insecured place with a lot of thiefs day and night

Beach was really dirty and full of trashes because the people don't clean it, my friends and I had to go to another place everyday.

The manager of this place kicked me out after 4 days (my stay was 15) because I complained to Booking.com about all of the horrible things there. Thiefs are coming at night and tryed to open your room and window by force, its so scary and happen really often. There is NO WIFI at all, No AC in the room because its so old that it doesnt work, it just makes an horrible noise. The room and bathroom are in really bad conditions and full of bugs and ants everywhere it's so disguting. When you try to talk nicely to the employees about any problem they just reply to you: Talk to the manager and when you do, this man just keep your money and kick you out of this place. I am a woman traveling by myself and from one day to another I was without any accomodation and every others places were full, it was so scary. I'm glad I know the Island for a long time now and some friends had helped me but Don't go there, its the weirdest, scariest place I've seen in Zanzibar.

The best beach view and quiet place on Zanzibar.

Beach view very nice, low food price in restaurant and tasty dishes. Comfortable beds. Quiet place the best for relax. Friendly staff and location. Low crime level. Mabata friendly manager.

There are no items to clean your feet from sand in front of house. No shampoo. Broken shower. The last 4 days the staff did not clean territory of hotel. Few times staff forgot to return money as change. Little mess with restaurant billing. Wind shield needed for the restaurant.
