Nestled in Pittsburgh, this lovely house for R 3,511 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This newly remodeled row house has an open floor plan with large rooms and high ceilings which you will notice upon entering. The first floor has a huge living room with plenty of comfortable seating for the entire group. You can watch the large flat-screen television with surround sound which is equipped with many DVD movies and Apple TV. Also located on the first floor is a beautiful kitchen equipped with everything you need to make a home cooked meal. The very cozy dining area includes a gas burning fireplace and pub style table which comfortably seats six guests. The second floor has two large bedrooms with plenty of closet space. The master bedroom has a king size memory foam bed and flat-screen television. It also includes an office desk with high speed internet connection. The second bedroom has a queen size memory foam bed with a very unique charm. The bathroom has been recently updated which includes a ceramic tile shower with a Jacuzzi tub. Plenty of clean linens and towels will be stocked for your stay. There is an additional fully furnished third floor which has a beautiful view of Bloomfield and it's neighboring communities. This room is equipped with 2 full size beds for additional sleeping. The basement has been recently finished and is set up as a game room with a full size sofa for your comfort and additional sleeping. This rec room includes a dart board and a bar that converts into a gaming table which includes poker, blackjack, craps, and roulette. The other room in the basement is equipped with full laundry facilities which include an ironing board, folding table, and stocked with detergents and cleaning supplies. The outdoor space includes a back porch with a bistro table and seating. It has a completely fenced in backyard with a garden bench for relaxation along with a doggy door for you fury friend. Guests can also walk to Bloomfield Park which has a public swimming pool (seasonal), dek hockey rink, baseball field, and playground.

This was a really great house! Very comfortable as a home base to relax and sleep as we explored the city. The location is perfectly situated to be close enough to everything you would want to do. We also really liked Bloomfield’s shops and eateries. Just be sure to register your vehicle(s) in advance, as we forgot and did run into issues with that.

I stayed with several friends on a visit to Pittsburgh, and the house was perfect. Clean, comfortable, and everything was in great shape.
The kitchen was perfect for cooking a few meals, the entertainment system and NES were easy to use, and the location was exactly what we were looking for - easy walking to anything we could want and in the heart of a great neighborhood. And it was 3 blocks from the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had (Thyme Machine, a little green tent operation that pops up on the side of the road in the mornings).
The hosts were great - super easy to communicate with, although we didn't have any problems, so we didn't really need to reach out beyond the standard pre-check in procedures. And check in/check out was simple and smooth.
I can't speak highly enough about the stay here - if I need to rent a house in Pittsburgh again, I 100% will be back.

Jeff was great with communication and the house was beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. We lived that you can walk to get a bite to eat, the grocery store or a coffee! We stayed for 3 nights so that we could enjoy the entire weekend of my son's wedding.

The home was the perfect spot to visit with our son from Pitt, meet his friends, and enjoy family during Easter break in the Burgh. Especially nice to have our two dogs during the stay. The enclosed back yard and great neighborhood to go on walks was perfect. The location was great. Only a few minute drive to Pitt, Shady Side, the Strip District and the Stadiums. Plus, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, grocery store and local markets was an added bonus. We would definitely come back to this house.

Easter 2022
The home was the perfect spot to visit with our son from Pitt, meet his friends, and enjoy family during Easter break in the Burgh. Especially nice to have our two dogs during the stay. The enclosed back yard and great neighborhood to go on walks was perfect. The location was great. Only a few minute drive to Pitt, Shady Side, the Strip District and the Stadiums. Plus, within walking distance to plenty of restaurants, grocery store and local markets was an added bonus. We would definitely come back to this house.

Super Clean, Super Comfortable
This has to be the cleanest rental I've ever stayed at. You can really tell the owners pay close attention to keep everything in working order and spotless. Communication went smoothly as well. We'd recommend anyone looking for a convenient spot near Oakland and Bloomfield to check out this place.

Perfect Pittsburgh Weekend
We had a great time with friends at Jeff and Melissa’s. The neighborhood was friendly and the deck was a fantastic place to hang out and drink coffee. A very comfortable and clean experience and the communication with Jeff was fantastic.

Close to restaurants, quiet neighborhood
This was a terrific place to stay for sending our son off to Carnegie Mellon (2 miles away, 12 minute drive). There was street parking within a block of the townhouse and plenty of restaurants within walking distance (including coffee shop and ice cream store). The house itself was super nice with air conditioning and sofas that felt like real sofas (not cheap ones often found in rental units). The hosts were responsive and thoughtful. We especially enjoyed the pastries they provided.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Jeff & Melissa’s home. We arrived after some lengthy and exhausting travel, and it was such a relief to come to such a comfortable home, stocked with everything we might need. Jeff and Melissa had kindly left some fresh pastries, as well as basic staples in the fridge and some snacks in the cupboards. The kitchen was extremely well-stocked with most anything you could possibly want for cooking/baking, and they also had a spice rack with all the typical spices you would need. They have a Keurig coffee machine and supply you with a very generous supply of coffee cups, which was much appreciated! A case of bottled water was also provided. It was seriously like you were staying at a friend’s house while they were out of town, it really felt like home, with all necessities provided for. We were visiting our adult children in Pittsburgh and there was plenty of space for us all to be relax and enjoy each other’s company. Last but not least, the beds were super comfortable, with memory foam toppers, and the pillows were great as well. Room-darkening curtains allow you to keep the room dark in the mornings if you’re trying to sleep. Thanks so much Jeff and Melissa for making our return to Pgh so enjoyable! We hope we will be able to reserve your place again next time we’re home!

Fantastic ‘home away from home’ in Bloomfield
My husband and I had an amazing stay at Jeff & Melissa’s home.
