Clean, comfy, good price.
Shower was small. And some may not like the train noise going back and forth. But i kinda liked watching the trains

The room was clean and decent size.
There was no bathroom mat, so it was quite slippery after showers. There were noises at night from the machinery nearby.

Ive never given a review before but people need to know!!! Nothing was good aboutit. . It was clean but she apologized for the awful smell of bleach which gave me a headache. We had to open a window smell was so bad and it was hot.
Everything. Hard Bed up against hard mirror. 1 very lumpy pillow each- neck hurt in morning.. TV did not work- She said others hD complained but it had not been fixed. She got 1 channel to work and said she would have someone come fix it, no one did. She said she would bring us a shower curtain that was being washed- she never did. The shower head dripped all night splashing on the bathroom floor. My husband slipped on it in the night when he needed to use the bathroom Between the constant drip and train whistles all night and horrible bed and pillows I could not sleep. I sent her several messages asking for a partial then full refund. She never answered any of them. I booked it because the reviews said it was pleasant but it was the worst hotel I have ever been in.

Thet called me at the last minute as I was leaving to tell me they were overbooked and sent us to a sister property, The Inn on 17. The place was a dump. The rooms smelled of mold, the bathroom smelled of urine, there were stray cats everywhere and the property smelled of cat urine, the tv,s did not work, and it was in a creepy part of town.I could not get a copy of my bill when checking out early. I was lucky enough to find another place for our second night. The staff was rude, the floors in the room were dirty, and I found a piece of trash in my bed. I hope I will be credited for the second night and I advise you to take them off your lists.
Everything! A total dump. Dirty, rude staff, ferral cats everywhere with the stench of animal waste, tv's didn't work and no attempt was made by staff to rectify, no bill available at check out so I don't know if I was credited for the second night, we were lucky enough to find rooms elsewhere that were affordable. I was called at the last minute by The Carole hotel to tell me they were overbooked and they put us in a sister property The Inn on 17. By the time we got there there was no time to get other accomodations. I will be more careful about using Bookings in the future.

I liked the check out procedure. It allowed us to leave in the middle of the night in order to beat the multiple construction zones on our way home.
No breakfast available at the designated time and place, but I did meet a very nice guest looking for breakfast as well.

The motel had water problems of some sort so we had to stay in another motel that they contacted for us. It was in poor condition and we paid $100 for the night which was not reasonable.
I think Booking.com or to give us a partial refund, say $50. What happened wasn’t Booking.com‘s fault but we ended up paying too much for a poor room in a poor motel. The motel is called Inn on 17. The staff at both motels were fine.

full size refrigerator
Lydia was a most gracious host
purple light above the bed, mirrors on the wall by the bed made it feel like a room for a hook-up. tile floor in both the bathroom and bedroom that was cold and slippery. no cups or coffee in the room, even though there was a microwave and refrigerator. no lamps, no plugs to recharge our cell phones. the TV would shit off periodically while watching a show then come back on by itself. the mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. the A/C unit was up high and I couldn’t reach the settings.

it was located nicely within limits of downtown Savannah and Tybee island without all of the steep motel pricing. Also, in the town there are plenty of resources without driving far. It was a very convenient and nice place to stay. The staff there is amazing! Very friendly and keep the place very clean!!! Also, nice surprise with the black light above the bed!!!
My friend didn’t like the proximity to the trains but I live by train tracks so they didn’t bother me. Other than that, we had no complaints!!
