Definitely a unique hotel, but great staff, room was clean and comfy. The only downside was breakfast was a bit lacking in comparison to other hotels. Overall though, would recommend staying here while in Amarillo

Room 120 had no window, the bathroom door was broken in half and wouldn't shut, the bedroom sink looks like it is sagging to the right. Amenities were not as advertised - pool and hot tub are unavailable with a sign saying they are shut down by the Amarillo health department, and the fitness center is just four machines, 2 of which don't work. Only saving grace was that the bed was comfortable and didn't appear to have bed bugs (we checked when we saw the rest of the facility). Public restrooms and meeting spaces near front of facility look like something in a crummy gas station. Motel 6 took over a couple of weeks ago according to front desk staff. There may be hope with new owners, but for now I'd stay away!

This was our second stay within 5 days at this hotel. We were really disappointed that each time the pool was closed. It's really an upscale hotel 6. Breakfast is lackluster and was the same both days. Toast and scrambled eggs.

The front desk staff were very helpful. However, I did not enjoy my stay. The property is old and doesn’t look maintained. I know this is only a 2-star property. The breakfast is not a full breakfast. You get a small plate of food and if you want more, $5. Food was…okay…I would not stay again.

Hotel was old dingy and had an old muggy smell. Felt very unsafe as the rooms had large windows free acing the lobby which was old and outdated.

Shower didn’t drain so by the end your standing in several inches of water. Black painted low ceilings in the dimly lit rooms make it feel creepy. Won’t stay again.

The first time I stayed at the property I had a great experience. This time began well with a polite and accommodating staff during check in. I asked for a late check out and was told no problem. In the morning the cleaning staff began knocking shortly after 10am. I told them I had a late check out. They began knocking again about an hour or so later, which was annoying as a needed extra time, which is why I asked for the late check out. I opened the door, told the cleaning lady I had a late check out and closed the door. A few minutes later my room phone began to ring. At this point I was feeling harassed, so I didn't answer it. On my way out I politely told the front desk clerk I was checking out of my room. She immediately became rude, demanding answers from me. Told me she didn't know I had a late check out and that I should have called her to tell her. I explained that I was told by the night staff it wasn't a problem, at which time she accused me of having an attitude and told me I could "Get Out of her hotel". Completely unprofessional!

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the weekend just to get out, it was very very good for the price. The breakfast was good, the people were nice, and the room smelled clean. I did have some troubles with the TV but with a quick talk to a lady upfront, a man was sent to my room and fixed it in minutes. overall, it was a good experience and I would stay here again

This hotel is pretty run down. The room door jammed at the top, making it difficult to open and close. The bathroom fan switch was broken, and there is a lot of deferred maintenance. Breakfast was ok, but it was simple eggs and sausage with a couple pieces of toast. No seconds, no extra, no choices. They had a sign up saying tips appreciated which gave the tiny cheap breakfast a less appealing feel.

Clean & nice & quiet but very old fashioned. Carpet was from 80’s, curtains should have been thrown in the garbage 15 years ago!! Room was nothing like the pics on line. Guess we got what we paid for… $57 a night!!!

Great value. I was surprised at how nice it was for the price. Free hot breakfast with bacon and eggs, indoor pool, room had a large fridge with separate freezer, sink in the kitchen area, microwave, and spacious. Not what I expected for 35 bucks on a Saturday. Right off of the interstate and I was able to get my laundry done.

Cool, looking hotel, I loved the atrium. We were there for a quick overnight trip, so really didn’t ask Laura much, but it was comfortable and clean at a very reasonable price. no complaints. It’s a classy hotel that is just a little worn down and could use renovations. We will stay here again. Next time we travel through.
