We stayed at the Village House during our trip to Joshua Tree and it was just a perfect place to return to after a day of hiking. The house had everything we could have needed including a well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a beautiful outdoor oasis. We loved the hot tub and all the outdoor seating areas. The communication with Rob and Susan was always very prompt. We live on the east coast and if we ever return to Joshua Tree this will be our go to place to stay. We highly recommend this beautiful home and will make friends and family aware of this gem of a house.

Highly recommend this little oasis in the desert! It was perfect for our family of 4 after a day of hiking and exploring in Joshua Tree National Park. Great amenities including tea & sugar since I’m not a coffee drinker! Having the backyard to relax in after a long day was just the place we needed!

Overall, we were very impressed by the property: the decor fit right into the vibe of Joshua Tree and was functional as well. The couches and bed were very comfortable; plenty of linens and instructions for the hot tub and security gate. A great supply of essentials, from shampoo to coffee, creamer, spices -- just great, although we did not cook (it was vacation!). And walking distance to town was sooooo easy (hardly contributed to our steps). I have to say, I was about to give up on vacation rentals because they have typically been understocked (I can bring my own coffee, but like it when sugar, creamer and spices are available -- so far, has not been the case). This place has restored my opinion of a vacation rental - let's hope all the others are as nice and over-achieving as this one! Thanks for making a quick trip over-the-top!

We needed a homebase to host are out of town in-laws for a Joshua Tree adventure. Rob and Susan’s place was the perfect size for the four of us and so comfortable. We really appreciated the proximity to the park, the beautiful backyard and hot tub.
We had everything we needed, and it made for a great vacation for everyone. Thanks Rob and Susan.

Village House was conveniently located for our exploration of the beautiful Joshua Tree NP! We were able to spend the day exploring and return to the comfort of this little Oasis in the desert! Will definitely return!

This was a great place to stay. Quiet, cozy and clean. Walking distance to Joshua Tree shops and restaurants. Short drive to Joshua Tree Natl Park. Very comfy beds, nice hot tub!

only good things to say about this property.. what you see on the photos is what you get! just a note that if you want to build a fire, you would require getting your own logs, fire starter kit, lighter etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Joshua Tree and the Village House property. The property had everything you’d need. The hot tub was a perfect end to a day of hiking in the Joshua Tree National Park, which was just minutes away. Rob and Susan are very responsive should you need anything. Would definitely stay here again, if we come to Joshua Tree.

I’m so happy we chose to stay here, the location was great in proximity to the entrance of Joshua Tree and town. The house was cozy and cute. The only downside was that we didn’t have more people joining us for this stay. The place is ready for a small group to hang out, chill in the hot tub, and grill some steaks. I would definitely repeat our stay here!

We encountered some issues during our stay which were not due to the owners' negligence. Unfortunately, we experienced a power outage from 11:30 pm to 8 am, which made it hard for me to use my CPAP machine and have air conditioning or lights. Furthermore, while trying to cook a pizza, the oven filled the house with smoke. However, despite these setbacks, our stay was pleasant, and we appreciated the convenient location within walking distance to downtown. The amenities were great, and the accommodation itself was comfortable.

We had a great stay at this wonderful house! The backyard is the perfect place to either escape from the heat during the day or stargaze at night. The hosts were very communicative and easy to work with. The house is clean and comfortable and has everything you need (including basic toiletries!) to make your stay in Joshua Tree as relaxing as possible. We’d highly recommend this house to anyone

We stayed at this home during our vacation to Joshua Tree National Park. This was our first time to Joshua Tree, CA and the National park. The home was beautiful, quiet, seemed very safe and was private. The hot tub and pool were perfect to relax in after a long day of hiking. It was an easy 10 minute drive to the entrance of Joshua Tree National Park! We also enjoyed walking to the Joshua tree saloon, Joshua tree coffee and other shops! Seriously, it couldn’t be in a better location! The owners were super friendly and responsive and check in/out was simple. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again!

We gotta say we LOVED THIS LIL HOUSE…nothing fancy about it but it was very cozy & welcoming…we live a very busy life style & staying there helped us relax & unwind SO MUCH!!! BED WAS SO COMFORTABLE

My daughter and I had an amazing time staying in this village property. It could not have been more perfect! The location was very convenient and just off the highway. In addition; we felt very safe and secure due to a security gate and fenced in property. This did not take away from the beautiful Mountain View’s. The property was cute, clean, and uncluttered. We didn’t try the cowboy pool or hot tub because the temps while we were there were sky high. But i can say the house stayed cool despite temps outside that stayed above 100 even to sunset.

It was a nice house. Plenty of different places to sit! We spent most of our time outside plenty of privacy, we loved the fenced in yard, perfect for children! Lots of yard decor, makes it feel homey even when outside! The mountain view beautiful was orange at sunset. Comfortable beds, easy to read check out instructions. Owners were very nice and responsive!

We had an excellent time at the Village House! The location is great, easy walking to cafes and cute shops. Rob and Susan were super communicative and I knew if anything happened they would be a call away. The house is beautifully decorated with great amenities. It was very hot during our visit and we had great use out of the cowboy pool. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

We had a time exploring Joshua Tree National Park and the house was very convenient to the main area of the park. The house was clean and well equipped. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub or cowboy pool. A washer/dryer would be a great addition!

I would highly recommend this property to anyone planning on visiting Joshua Tree. The location was conveniently located near the west entrance to the park. The house was beautifully decorated, spotless, comfortable and relaxing. I just wish we could have stayed longer!!

Loved the house. There were so many cozy sitting areas inside and outside. It was really clean and the kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed. The house is in a prime location, walking distance to the shops and restaurants. The owners were welcoming and thoughtful and easy to reach for a quick question. We would definitely love to stay here again.

The house is lovely, well located in proximity to park and town. Decorated with care, lots of seating, kitchen well stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. Beds are comfortable, only sleeps 4. It was cool temperatures and very windy while we were there, but we were still able to enjoy some time in the hot tub. Very private yard and house. Would definitely stay there again!

Lovely house with a nice feel and decor, more like a home, very weet. Nice bed. Very clean. Enjoyed the hot tub. Owners very responsive and helpful. Close to Joshua tree and Pappy and Harriet’s. Highly recommend and would come back. Five stars.
