They had nothing. No breakfast. No vending machines. No ice machines. just a hard bed with a bathroom.

Liked the hotel but not the noise we experienced at night.

Nice room and bathroom. Good location for walking and sightseeing. Plenty of nearby restaurants in Little Italy and Chinatown. 15 minute walk from BART which connects with airport.

Very noisy at night for two of the nights, not reflected in previous reviews. No facility to make tea or coffee.

A very good hotel, reasonably priced in a good location

Staff were extremely helpful , let us check in early without extra cost after a long overnight flight. Hotel was very quiet & no noise from roads where we were located

Rooms are not particularly big &a bit dated, TV channels poor.

We were happy with our stay and will do it in the future again.

Location was excellent.

We were at same hotel before the pandemic and they offered breakfast that was nice. But now no breakfast so we waste a lot of time and money to find breakfast.

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and the hotel is accommodating especially for early check in.

This was my 2nd stay at the hotel and the experience was even better than the first time due to the location of the allocated room and no more noises from the outside shops at night. SW Hotel’s location is very convenient as it is in Chinatown that you are able to walk to the different places of interests. From the Stockton St, turn left through the tunnel to union square, the shopping district or turn right to fisherman wharf and coit tower etc. You can also walk to famous food places like the good Mong Kok bakery for dim sum, Sotto mare, Mamas on Washington St and Liquria Bakery for the super yummy focaccia bread! The senior staff of the hotel are also friendly and helpful.

Need to bring your own travel flask to boil hot water for tea and coffee.

Fantastic, quiet hotel in Chinatown, close to North Beach

Spacious room and bathroom situated in a great, safe neighbourhood. Staff were super friendly and even able to accommodate an earlier check-in. The hotel was very quiet. Appreciated having a mini fridge. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in San Francisco.

The thermostat didn't seem to work but they did provide an extra blanket.

It is an older property but we didn’t mind so much, as the room was clean and the location was great. Plus, who vacation

We did not use the parking option. However: -safe & convenient location in Chinatown -clean hotel (nice lobby) -somehow, we never had to wait for the elevator from the lobby or the fourth floor (it was quick and just there waiting for us it seemed) -cheapest room in SF with its own bathroom -writing desk with note pad -closet with iron & ironing board -armchair & nightstand -AC was COLD -shower water was HOT -TV armoire with mini fridge -soap & shampoo smelled really good (brought them back with us) -optional anti-slip mat in the bathroom, if needed (rolled up under the sink) -perfect amount of towels + extra toilet paper -ice bucket provided -bed was firm (a little too firm for my liking, but I was exhausted from all the walking anyway and knocked out fast) -extra blanket in the armoire

The only con would be the fridge was a little stinky and not cold. but it was fine, we didn’t have a reason to use the fridge anyway. I’m sure if we did, we probably could have asked the front desk person to see about switching it out. We saw two different staff members during our weekend stay, and they were both very helpful.

overall it is still a place I’d recommend. value for money considering the hotel prices in central San Francisco

facilities a bit dated, tv did not work properly, bed side lamp did not work and air conditioner quite loud.

Our stay was brief, but enjoyable. We will be staying here again in the future.

Staff was very friendly. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Pricing wasn’t too expensive.

The Tv was EXTREMELY small.

Great location

The location is really great. My king room was very comfortable and a good size. The staff were friendly and responsive.

The bedspread was a horrid color of khaki/olive green that made the whole room very drab.
