Attractive house with large, comfortable bedroom and good bathroom.
Located on a busy junction. Often significant road noise from 6.30am. Perhaps other bedrooms are quieter.
Breakfast rather basic.

Location was great with walkable distance to restaurants and shops. The evening wine hour in the garden and the massive bathtub in our room were a plus!

We loved 1801 First Luxury Inn. Carrie, one of the proprietors, was brilliant from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. We particularly enjoyed the comfy bed and the breakfasts cooked by their in-house chef.
The rooms were slightly dated and would benefit from renovation in keeping with the age of the property, but this didn’t affect our stay.

Location was great, room was nice. Jacuzzi tub didn’t work, or seemed not to.

I loved the location, the ambience, the individual key to get in and out of the house and room. I loved our room.

The staff here is exceptional, they're friendly, always ready to help you with anything that you need & the breakfast are amazing. And it's two blocks away from downtown Napa. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. It is seriously an amazing B & B. We are definitely coming back.

Lovely property with great hosts/owners. Clean room, with an iron, and toiletries. A lovely breakfast (3 choices provided every night and served at your indicated time). Room also had bathrobes and safe.
A short walk to downtown (7-15 mins to most places), which was wonderful.
Owner (Carrie) even called me personally to suggest restaurants-very personal service. exactly what we wanted for a stay in Napa -especially when you are mostly out and about during the day.
Stayed in the garden cottage. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Parking included on site.

Good breakfast, very comfortable rooms and beds with a good attention to detail in terms of bathrobes, towels, toiletries. Very nice to have wine hour with cheese in the evening.

the intricate details on arrival, welcome letter, cheese, wine and chocolates in our room with a handwritten welcome message. Breakfast was part of the booking and changed every morning where we collected in the dining room to have a beautiful meal. The happy hours were really well designed with cheese plates and matching wines and the hosts - Lori and Laura were outstanding. It was more than just a stay, it was such an experience

Breakfast is fantastic! Delicious, filling and the service was great.
The only thing I would rate differently is the blind in the room is a little too light for me.

We had such an enjoyable stay at the inn. The location was perfect -- just few blocks' walk into the heart of Napa to stroll through shops or have dinner, but also an ideal launching point to other towns in the valley. Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was huge, with a tub, shower, and lounging couch. We were welcomed by homemade chocolates and a mini fridge with free Cokes and bottled water. Our hosts served a lovely breakfast with fresh juice and fruit, different pastries and breads each morning, and a choice of entrees. And each evening, the inn hosts a complimentary appetizer/wine hour. We missed most of them, as we were out and about, but we thoroughly enjoyed the wine tasting event on Friday night. A domed platter of freshly baked cookies, along with teas and coffee, were available in the dining room 24 hours a day. Honestly, we couldn't have felt more pampered!
As comfortable as our room was, the décor was pretty drab with its shades of brown, gold, and red. It's probably historically accurate to the home, but it felt a bit tired. I almost hate to mention it because everything else was A+++.

the location was great, the room was nice but dated.
we were charged more than what Booking.com advertised. when my husband contacted the property they tried to convince him that that was the price of the room, which was about $250 more than the price we booked with on Booking.com. I booked with booking. com and the price was all inclusive $547 for 2 nights. we were charged $803. after that conversation we called back multiple times to have them refund the extra charge, they never called us back. we finally had our bank stop payment on the extra charge and filed a complaint with booking.com. only after our bank stopped the payment on the extra charge, did they respond to booking. com and told them that the charge was by accident and that they upgraded our room but forgot that the upgrade was free. they never called us, upgrade was never discussed, and they never contacted us to offer an apology or explanation.

Charming staff, great location and exceeded all expectations.
This spot actually made our getaway that much more intimate.
Will definitely be back!
