The location is the vest thing in this place

If you are taller than 140 cm this is not the right place to rent .. as my husband and I we were walking pending our nick and back during our stay .. if we rise our heads in the rong place we nock our heads against the walls & seiling!!! The smell of the swage is horrible 👎 , the sofa was dirty full of stains my daughters got a bad rush 5 mins after sitting on it👎, the bed room rug was full of stains! I think they need to do professional furniture cleaning.

Upper floor had a very low ceiling that was not clearly indicated in listing. (Fortunately, we are not tall individuals ;-)…)

Location was perfect and the team very helpful. Great antique house with a very modern flair.

Be prepared for head bumps! Due to the sloping roof on both the first and second floors of the flat makes it likely for anyone to hit their head. The couch itself was stained and nasty, making it an unpleasant seating option. There is no luggage deposit available unless you pay an additional fee. However, the most disappointing aspect of our stay was the unprofessional management of W Home | Madalena Downtown Luxury Duplex. Due to a strike, we arrived two days later and lost two nights of our reservation, which we understood were non-refundable according to the cancellation policy. Despite not even being in Portugal during those days, the host insisted on charging us the tourist tax for those nights. It felt as if they were intentionally taking advantage of us. Even after providing proof of the airline cancellation, they still refused to address the issue or provide any resolution. When attempting to speak with the manager, Maria, on the phone, she continuously interrupted and yelled, denying me the opportunity to communicate my concerns. Maria's disrespectful behavior was further exacerbated by her telling us that we should consider ourselves lucky not to have lost three more nights. This blatant disregard for our situation felt like a bottomless insolence and displayed a total lack of professionalism and empathy of the management of W Home | Madalena Downtown Luxury Duplex. I would not recommend W Home | Madalena Downtown Luxury Duplex. This was by far my worst guest experience and it is truly disappointing to encounter such unprofessional and rude accommodation providers on booking.com. Overall, it became evident that the management of W Home | Madalena Downtown Luxury Duplex prioritizes profit above the expected standards of guest services and experiences. This approach completely disregards the essence of providing quality hospitality and guest services and creates a deeply disappointing and unsatisfactory experience for guests.

I loved everything! Such a beautiful apartment in prime location!

The amenities could be better. If you are very tall might be uncomfortable with the ceilings.

Very spacious , lots of natural light and well insulated from street noise.

Stained sofa, low quality pillows- do not mold to head, one shower drain is slow and shower door scapes against the floor- difficult to open

location was ideal and the decor was just gorgeous, loved it !!
