It's nice that the location of the hotel is on the street. I arrived late and the staff at the reception was very helpful.

The toilet in the room didn't work. We asked for a different room, but we had to stay in this room because there was not enough room for us. We asked for a bucket to solve the water problem in the toilet and this way we solved the problem.

The location is good.

There was mould on the walls, the sewage was blocked and the water from the bathroom stayed without draining.

Excellent location but still outdated hotel even in the remodeled rooms. The stuff was very nice. Overall if you are on the budget travel and want to be in excellent location it is definitely your choice

The windows were very good at keeping the noise of the city out, and my children were delighted with the contents of the fridge.

I paid nearly £100 for one night's stay, which seemed ok until we got to the room. We had booked a family room, two adults and two children. The double bed was ok for me and my partner. The beds for the children though were pretty unforgiving and hard (they were foam chair things that unfolded into beds) and there were not any pillows or duvets for them, only very scratchy blankets. We arrived it seemed at the same time as some sort of school party, so after a 4.5 hour drive to get to Sofia, we stood for nearly 40 mins in a very crowded and cramped lobby, waiting to check in, while this group of excited children screamed at the top of their voices. I understand that these things happen, but the front desk was woefully understaffed which really didn't help. Overall, I felt like we'd been have been better off staying in a hotel closer to the airport, where it would have been quieter, check in managed more efficiently and we would have had a bit more value for money.

Very central location. Closed to everything you need. Supermarket right next to the entrance. the bathroom was very new and clean. Great water pressure. The furniture of the room was kinda dated, but the beds were comfortable. Booked this hotel last minute as another place cancelled my booking due to overbooking. The stuff was polite and smiley.

we were on the first floor and because of the chinese restaurant underneed, it gets really smelly of fried food. Also in the bathroom, the odors in the mornings were like you are in a restaurant kitchen.

Good location. Staff is very nice and allowed me to check in bit earlier. Rooms are reasonably sized. All the famous landmarks are within 1 mile. Value for money.

Breakfast is very basic. Keep in kind it's an old hotel so carpets, lifts, building etc are bit old.
