Friendly hotel conveniently situated for the centre of Sheffield with lots of bars and restaurants close by. 15 minute walk from the station Breakfast was OK but not spectacular. Rooms comfy.

Our room overlooked Leopold Square which has lots of bars and restaurants. On Friday and Saturday it was noisy until the early hours.

Great location, with polite, friendly staff. The hotel is lovely, full of history and personality. The room was clean and tidy, and felt comfortable, apart from one thing.

The noise from outside was horrendous. It went on for 12 hours, from the band playing outside in the courtyard, which would have been fine, however the bar/club that carried on until 2 a.m. was ridiculous. At 11 p.m. we asked what time the bar/club would close, and told 2.a.m. The soundproofing from the windows was non-existent, we may as well have had the window open. It really ruined the experience and what would have been a great overnight stay. Also, the associated Car Park advertises EV charging... there are signs saying "coming soon" yet these have bee there since the start of the year. Fortunately we had enough battery, not so good if we had have been reliant on them to charge up.
