TV didn’t work in that picture distorted and sound crackling and not understandable. Curtains at the window at the head of the bed had come off tracks and couldn’t be closed up. Went down for breakfast only to find the restaurant closed and a table containing tea and coffee in reception, on questioning why no breakfast they said they were starting to renovate the Brasserie and there was no food being served. The fast food takeouts around the hotel were definitely not suitable for breakfast. I was told a new Company had taken over and were “changing things”. Cleaning staff very thorough and very pleasant.

I locked myself out of the room sleepwalking with no underpants on. Staff came to my rescue in a difficult situation with no judging. Breakfast was delicious

convenient to all main areas of city centre. Large comfy bed. Clean towels & plenty of toiletries. Good storage for clothes. Hairdryer & ironing board.

No Nespresso machine as advertised so disappointed with a very cheap kettle & even cheaper coffee sachets. I believe this should have brought to our attention so we could have planned ahead, yes it’s only a coffee although most of us would expect premium when paying for a premium stay. A voucher for a coffee at the restaurant downstairs would have been a nice GWG or shaving a few £ of the bill to compensate would have been appreciated.

The room was spacious and clean, with tea, coffee and water provided. The staff were pleasant. The breakfast was very nice.

Breakfast was slow - over 40 minutes for the meal to arrive at my table on the first day, 30 mins on the second day. The property is cavernous and there is usually only one member of staff available at any time, which means there is a feeling of it being quite unsafe.
