Setting and views from our bedroom window. Family run. Huge portions of food. Quirky and in a nice way Faulty Towers comes to mind.
Having to pay for breakfast and £20 per night for our dog.

Parking - no dedicated parking for hotel guests
Room - I was put in a room the entrance to which doubled as an emergency exit. So I didn’t feel particularly comfortable that technically people could access my room without a key. The room was also boiling hot at night. Not sure why, as the heating didn’t appear to be on. Couldn’t open windows. Bathroom floor tiles were incredibly slippery…would not be ideal for older people.
Staff - not the friendliest hotel staff I’ve come across. Also, every time I needed to find someone at reception, nobody was around and I had to wait several minutes. Then when I finally found someone, they each told me they didn’t have authority to answer my query and would have to find the manager
