Lovely pub and very friendly staff (and dog)
The nearby road is a bit noisy - bring earplugs 😀

Relaxed feel, food was excellent and staff were super friendly. The pub's pet German Shepherd was a sweetheart!
Very small double bed. We could hear every single noise from the room above. When the chef came on duty before 8am on Saturday, he put his dog in the room next to us. Assume his dog suffers from separation anxiety because it was barking, crying and scratching at the door. Our toilet seat kept falling off whilst we were on the loo, including the lid collapsing on us. We stayed in Lyth. Definitely would benefit from a new loo seat!

Great atmosphere and nice staff, very accommodating.
The only very slight negative was the shower was not very powerful but adequate. Please don’t serve the butter on the breakfast plate keep it separate as melted butter makes a bit of a mess of one’s clothing. These are purely helpful hints rather than negatives. Would go back in a flash.
