Fabulous room and stunning bathroom. Outside grounds were fantastic and seating areas were also very good.

Food at venue wasn’t great, we had À la carte menu and both were left feeling disappointed and hungry. Breakfast portions also on the small side, not impressed by given half a piece of black pudding, one sausage etc.

We came for a wedding, it was absolutely lovely, the staff were fantastic. x

Bedroom and bathroom were exceptionally elegantly stylish,with a welcoming ambience & immaculately clean with bedding being sumptious cotton linens. Huge room for a twin with seperate lounge area and balcony overlooking mature gardens. Even saw a deer in the field when driving up the entrance. Restaurant served both an la carte and brasserie menu catering for all needs, great choice of both alcholic and non alcoholic drinks and all staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Would definatley return when needing to stay in Bristol. Such a difference in the surrounding environment when turning off from the main roads around Cribbs Causeway to then driving through a short country lane into the estate.

The hotel and rooms were a lovely setting to get away for the evening. The gardens are nice for a stroll and the lawn games are a nice touch.

The food was very expensive for the quality and quantity. We had the fish dish and the duck from the a la carte menu. Both were nice enough, but gave vibes of typical mass produced wedding/event dining food, and the portions were really quite small. For £30+ per dish, we were disappointed. The room was grand, as we expected, and made for a nice getaway. On the surface, the room was excellent but if you look more closely, there's a lot of wear and tear such as damp in the ceiling. Not only that, the attention to detail feels missing. For example, we stayed in the room where the bed is on a raised platform with stairs to it and a TV that is propped up in the middle with the wires visible. My partner and I both said that for a hotel that screams luxury on the outside and online, you'd expect at least the wires to be tucked away, if not a TV that is bigger/as grand as the room. On the whole, staying here was nice but it wasn't the luxury experience I expected for over £200 for a night plus another £200+ for food and drinks for two.
