Harbour Hotel & Spa Bristol

Lovely spa. Relaxing stay. Comfortable beds

The spa is great very relaxing, the hotel is in a great spot, the deco is lovely, it feels safe, there is 24hr service at reception, you can have room service. I ordered the extra large king size bed it was huge and very comfy.

They tried to charge me extra someone else had put their breakfast on my room number if I hadnt of checked Id have paid that. The staff were quite rude to me - i was wondering if it was because i didnt look like their usual clientele or if it was because i was in what one staff member called the cheap rooms, as it was smaller apparently. I felt judged by them all, no one came over to me at breakfast i had to go up to the counter as i watched others being waited on hand and foot. The spa is amazing but the steps down to the spa are very small and felt unsafe. There was a half drunk water bottle in my room when i got there it wasnt the cleanest. And as they mentioned i was in a "cheap" room this meant i had the pleasure of sleeping (or not sleeping as was the case) with the extractor fan / some sort of unit that was above my room so the loud humming noise kept me up most the night, the blinds rolled downwards so the sun shone right into the room they need new blinds or curtains. The car park is very far away & you have to walk down dark quiet roads if its late or early this wasnt very nice.

The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious and comfortable. Excellent location to explore Bristol.

Room was okay, the bathroom as big and shower was hot and powerful. Generally it was an okay stay with a few hiccups.

There were a few issues on arrival, we booked to attend the Spar on one of the days but when checking we were told that the spa was closed with no compensation other than a free drink which we were very disappointed about since it was my wife's 40th and this was one of the goals. We also ordered to bubbly which I have agreed to be there on arrival, it never turned up. The room is classed as a suite but really they have squashed in a sofa and bath taking up valuable space. It was also very noisey early morning with cleaning staff outside the hotel which kept us up. The bathoom was big but lots of black hairs in the shower room on arrival.
