Clean, convenient and comfortable - expensive as it was at the end of Fringe 2026
Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking the street so busy but not too noisy
2nd room (booked at a later date) at the back of the hotel was much quieter and had a beautiful view
Lovely addition of Scottish tablet and chocolate biscuits in the room - complimentary tea and coffee - fresh milk from the bar
all good

Breakfast options were basic. Could be improved with hot options for the 14 pounds they charge
Carpet in rooms and some mold in the shower.

Excellent location, good design. Excellent staff
Rooms don’t have air flow so are stuffy. All part of an old building in Europe but bathroom doesn’t vent out and room is a little stuffy. Window can open but not easy.
