The view of the Danube river from our room was breathtaking. The breakfast was really good and with plenty of choices. Location is ideal. The rooms are quite and spacious and with comfortable beds. Slightly outdated, but abdolutely gorgeous view and location, so I would definitely stay there again. Also, a few minutes walk from tram, bus stops, metro and airport bus station and Vaci Utca.

Aamiainen piti hyvää hotellitasoa vaikka kaikkia vaihtoehtoja ei jatkuvasti ollut tarjolla. Palvelun vakavin virhe tapahtui aamiaisen yhteydessä kun väitettiin ettei aamiainen kuulunut varaukseemme. Väärinkäsitys johtui ilmeisesti henkilökunnan heikon englanninkielen taitoon (liitettiin väärään huonenumeroon). Anteeksipyyntö henkilökunnan omasta virheestä jäi uupumaan.

Hotelli voisi mielestäni helposti saada paremman arvosanan minulta, mutta palvelu jätti osittain toivomisen varaa. Tänä päivänä on myös hämmästyttävää ettei sängyn vieressä ole pistoketta.

Hotel je odličan. Lokacija i pogled na Dunav oduzimaju dah. Doručak je izvrstan i raznovrstan. Ima dosta veganskih izbora i sve je odlično.

Iznenadio me je bazen koji nije naročito veliki da se može duže plivati. Takođe je mali vroj ležaljki oko bazena.

Essen und trinken überteuert (Qualität gut) im restaurant. An der Bar trinken zu teuer. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, eine Renovierung würde hier gut tun.

Fantastic location for all major sites in the city. Great views across the Danube. Staff were amazing. Food was delicious and so fresh.

The views are spectacular, the location is great, and it’s close to everything.

Although there is a rail, I ended up slipping in the tub which is very deep, so you have to be careful going in and out. The cleaning service is slow and couple of times our rooms were not cleaned although it was evening.

I liked the location

Arrived at the hotel, no slippers or bath ropes in our room. The shower was leaking. Went to the suna (reason i booked this hotel). It was not working pool-was very cold. Staff did not make me aware that the suna was not working. After asking at reception for some slippers and was told some would be sent to the room, they never arrived.

posizione eccellente, vicino alla metropolitana e dunque facilmente raggiungibile da tutte le parti della città. A mio parere, le camere godono della migliore vista sul Danubio dell'intera città (ponte delle catene e castello). Elevati standard di pulizia e varietà encomiabile nella colazione, oltre alla qualità dei prodotti.

Very busy and breakfast is too crowded

The location of this hotel is great. The breakfast was great. The receptionist are friendly and competent. It’s a 5 star American standard quality.

It’s a very busy hotel. It was fully booked for all the days we stayed at. There were few things that can be fixed. First, on a weekend, we left the room around 10:00 AM, and we had left a sign to clean the room and when we came back at 4:45 PM, and the room was not cleaned. One of the 4 elevators was out of order during our entire stay causing a bottleneck on elevators.

Generally a great room and location. Everything was pretty good with the location being great. Wonderful view from our room which had plenty of space. Restaurant was great with a good menu selection.

Sadly, we only found out that I could not use my IHG membership (to claim the nights stayed) because we booked indirectly. (in this case, through booking.com). Apparently there is a global policy that dis-allows using membership if you don't book directly. Seemed very funny to me since we are spending the same amount of money on the rooms. This was my only "gripe" on what would have otherwise been a great stay. I have made a note however and will remember this in the future when looking for hotel accommodation. If I'm going to spend the money, I'd like to at least ensure we can use memberships if we have them.

As per our previous stay the staff were outstanding, very calm feeling around hotel, perfect to unwind, great location with promenade walkway right outside and 2 mins to chain bridge. Close to main shopping street also.

I think Intercontinental is on of the best places you could stay in Budapest !
