Park Grand Mayfair

Everything

Nothing

Friendly and helpful check in. Conveniently located for Central London

Powder nescafe sticks in the rooms is just cheap; filter coffee in a giant flask at breakfast was abysmal. Breakfast in general was neither opulent nor generous

It was very central to where we needed to be

We booked 5 rooms, one as a family and one my friend booked. On the day of our wedding she received an email and said they couldn’t accommodate her anymore as they had no rooms and she had been moved into another hotel across the road. This was handled, not ideal but we dealt with it. When we checked the family in, we went into one of the rooms and there was someone in there, his cases, charger, shoes on the floor so we went down to reception to tell them and they went and checked the room and confirmed yes, there was someone in there- which we knew. They then found another room for us. Which they had previously told my friend they didn’t have and put her up in another room.

The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The location is excellent. Breakfast is nice. You can leave luggage before and after check in/out.

The rooms are very small and lack some basic amenities (no hair dryer, not enough toilet roll). Things are provided if you ask however. They are not cleaned daily unless you request this. We had a good deal as booked early, so it was about the same price as a premier inn, but honestly, you get more space and better facilities somewhere like that. What you are paying for is a great location. I would stay again at the rate we paid, but not the full rate, as it wouldn’t be good enough value for money for me.
