Lansdown Grove Hotel

Comodità per il centro di Bath, il parcheggio privato, la camera spaziosa e il bagno pulito. Colazione a buffet buona. Salottino nella hall bellissimo!!

Il fabbricato è in ristrutturazione, consiglio di segnalare la cosa. Ci siamo trovate (giustamente) gli operai che lavoravano fuori dalle finestre al mattino

The Landsdown Grove is very near the City centre. I have a heart problem and we walked it down to the City as it is downhill all the way and, even with my slow pace only took 15 minutes. There is a bus stop outside the Hotel, but even for me it was no effort and we did not have to worry about parking, traffic, etc. Different story on the way back - BUT - there is a bus route that stops outside the Hotel or, it is so relatively near, that we could have got a Taxi. The Hotel is lovely, many modern features and the staff are very pleasant and accommodating. Ate in the Hotel in the evening which had an extensive and well presented menu. We would have no hesitation in recommending The Landsdown.

Thewre was nothing in, or about the Hotel that we could fault.

Good location as a base for exploring Bath. Lansdowne Grove Hotel has parking, which is hard come by in Bath, but there is an additional charge.

The food in the restaurant, although not fine dining, is well cooked and reasonable value for money. However, the kitchen has some work to do in addressing gluten free options. The menu does not list GF options and when questions there was a very limited gluten free offering. I feel that with a few tweaks the menu could be improved greatly for diners with allergies. I discussed this with the General Manager who seemed to welcome my constructive criticism but let's see if and changes are made.

1913 restaurant and bar was nice.

The location of my room next to the lift and stairs was noisy. More attention to detail with cleaning is definitely needed. The bed was uncomfortable.
