the property was very clean, exactly what me and family needed. There is plenty of space, will definitely use it again in future

lovely & big - lots of beds.

the bath/shower door is very mouldy there’s a crack in the bath the mattress in all rooms you can feel the springs the bedroom in the middle the mattress is dipping on both sides the downstairs store cupboard has very bad damp and you can smell it very badly downstairs. LOTS OF COBWEBS in between furniture where it’s not be dusted there’s a random pigeon feather in the downstairs bedroom. stairs are steep if you have younger children be carful

location was appropriate for what was needed.

It was dirty, run down and many things broken. outside, advertised as a patio, was a filthy yard strewn with cigarette butts, an overflowing rubbish bin and an old bbq, also full of cigarette butts and un emptied from use.

slugs and spiders comes from the openings in the ground floor bedroom as the house is really old

Cooked bacon left in the oven, dirty marks on towels and half a used bar of soap left in the shower.

Location was good for a trip to Alton Towers. House was spacious The photos of this property are brilliant shame the property itself doesn't live up to them

The toilet upstairs is still not fixed, reviews go back to June 2021 reporting this issue as well as the carpet on the stairs which is very dangerous considering how steep the staircase is. The lights in half the house didn't work. The house appears clean untill you looked a little more, the shower is very dirty. There is only 1 parking permit available

The price! It was much cheaper for us as 3 married family members with 3 adult children between us to stay in one house rather than having to book 4 rooms in a hotel.

Only having one toilet which was within the bathroom. Unfortunately we were notified of a maintenance issue in the property we originally booked which would have been a better location for the reason we visited the area. That was disappointing.

Location was very good for where we were working and easy road access with some parking - would recommend to others - communication was excellent and response time was good

Lovely, comfortable and very clean with excellent facilities. Brian and Carl both very helpful and accommodating. Perfect location for our trip to Alton Towers to celebrate our daughter’s 16th birthday with her friends.

The only improvement I would suggest is to get the upstairs toilet fixed. Otherwise perfect for our needs. Thank you!

Location was ok as we were there to go to Alton Towers so was about 40 minute drive away. Nothing much around the property to walk to and not a very picturesque neighbourhood but you can at least drive to the local supermarket which is nearby to get groceries. Brian and Carl were very responsive on email and mobile and very helpful. Kitchen was well equipped and very clean.

The property was well kept and had plenty of bedrooms, plenty of towels were made available and beds were comfortable. However, for a property that should sleep 9, there was only one functioning bathroom which we all had to take turns to share and the water pressure for the shower was terrible, it produced a weak stream of water, barely enough to rinse your hands much less rinse off shampoo and body wash! Also the floor boards creaked so much so that if you had the downstairs bedroom, you got no rest as you can hear the floor boards creak very loudly anytime anyone upstairs moved around.

The kitchen was well equipped and had lots of storage, the living room was very comfortable and warm, bedrooms were spacious and well decorated.

There was loose carpet on the stairs making it slightly dangerous. No hoover, broom or dust pan and brush we're supplied to clean up, some of the lights were not working and upstairs toilet was out of order leaving 8 of us to share 1 toilet.

The house is lovely and very cozy. Ideal for a family break!

Well situated close to the park 1/2 hour drive The hosts very accommodating and contactable. Kitchen well equipped

Knowing about the parking permits in advance

Generally clean. Plenty towels and beds comfortable. Liked having the use of the barbecue and outdoor seating. Netflix and amazon prime a bonus. Location good.

Only 1 downstairs bathroom for a house sleeping 9. It appears there was an en suite toilet in 1 of the upstairs bedrooms but this was locked off as out of order. Also insufficiently equipped kitchen. No sharp knives, cheese grater, veg peeler or chopping/bread board. Some of the decor a bit tatty with loose wallpaper. Garden could do with a bit of tidy. Weeds growing out of the planters which looked like they had been up for ages without attention. Would be better off being removed altogether. A bit confused with the parking. On arrival the next door neighbour informed us that we needed to display visitors parking passes. No issues with parking directly outside the house, however the following day we were told by another neighbour we needed to park up on the pavement opposite the property despite nobody else using the space directly outside during our stay.

Ease of process

Only 1 bathroom

Plenty for f space and good size beds. No problems with parking and no outside noise.

No blinds on kitchen window and doors. Could do with blinds and better curtains on the bedroom windows especially in the summer months. The fridge was still dirty. Could of done with the upstairs toilet working.
