Philharmonic Hotel

This is a beautiful, clean and modern hotel a short and safe walk from The Philharmonic Hall. If you're booking tickets for a concert there, it's the perfect hotel to stay. The reception desk isn't manned and check-in is via a machine in the lobby. Manager, Bobby was either at the hotel or on-hand by phone if and couldn't have been more accommodating during our stay. Limited parking is available in a secure car park at the back of the hotel. Breakfast is 'Continental' only. The decor, furnishing, bedding etc is to the highest standard and our room was quiet. The city of Liverpool has plenty to offer for sightseeing and shopping and the 'Ferry Across The Mersey' river cruise is a lovely way to spend an hour on the water.

The hotel desk is not staffed. The check in can only be done via a machine outside the front door and the door is locked barring entry. I was locked out of the hotel and it was a horrible experience. I would never stay at this hotel again and would never recommend it to anyone.
