MiraVita Boutique Hotel - Adults Only

Location is excellent. Hotel staff couldn’t do enough to help.

Slight issue with rooms facing the back street. Slight cooking smell so couldn’t leave windows open. Other than that zero issues.

Could not get a room with view of harbour and these rooms are wonderful so had to settle for room on side. However the room and bathroom were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Very clean. Kettle and coffee facilities. Seems to be very common these days, they do not have a receptionist at the desk downstairs but you just pop into the restaurant which is a door within the reception area and someone there will take care of anything you need. I needed to contact the hotel regarding a taxi back to the airport and their response was very quick and I found them very efficient. The breakfast unfortunately is not great. You have no buffet but a selection of any kind of egg and something they call the tower which has some cheese and ham and jams and bread. There is a yoghurt in a bowl with one piece of fruit in it which I find extremely mean. I like a healthy breakfast and I want my yoghurt to have more food than that! No granola no muesli my husband was unwell one night so I ate in the restaurant downstairs, which is affiliated to the hotel and I have to say it was by far the best meal I had in Chania. I just wish we had discovered this restaurant earlier! The staff were fantastic and the food was absolutely delicious. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Unfortunately for the whole six days we were there there was a storm so we didn’t see Chania at its best as all the harbour restaurants were closed. However, the day we left the weather was wonderful and the port really came into its own. It’s a lovely post to visit and I strongly recommend this location which is probably the best you’re likely to find. The fact there is not a receptionist sitting downstairs really does not matter because.Georgia is so helpful and quick to respond the moment you contact her via email or message.

The quality of the breakfast was probably anything that was lacking. It is clearly a costing, but they could do a small buffet so people could actually make a better choice.

The location is amazing. You are in Old Town Chania but not in the very touristy part. The room is very cool and the bed is comfortable. The balcony view is amazing.

Only one towel hook. Need to add more! Also you can hear the music from the nearby restaurants but not a major issue. No staff present in the reception area (not a major issue; you just text message them).

Le petit déjeuner était sympa, mais toujours le même pendant 4 jours, j'aurai apprécié avoir plus de choix, l'emplacement de l'hôtel était très bien situé sur le vieux port.

Je n'ai jamais croisé personne dans l'hôtel c'est un peu dommage, malgré un contact avec une personne très sympa par whatsapp qui était très réactive, cela manque d'echange direct ;)
