The halls smelt a little damp.

The room was much nicer then I thought it would be as the building it-self was a bit confronting painted blue. It was a good location for our needs as it was close to the safari park we were going to. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint was no a/c but that is a common problem all over the U.K. They did have a powerful fan though.

We were happy with everything.

Very pleasant pub B&B - pub itself is very well cared for and looked after by very friendly staff. Rooms were clean, seemed freshly renovated and comfortable. We stayed for 1 night before going to Longleat Safari and it served this purpose well. Breakfast was mainly cereals & toasts etc but was perfectly adequate and well stocked. Would happily return.

The room was lovely

We were disappointed there was no food being served in the evening, the staff were lovely and provided takeaway menus, but we were looking forward to an evening pub meal, also the drinks were so expensive, the payment wasn’t working on our first round, so when I got the total bill for 4 x single gin and tonics and a packet of crisps I was shocked it was £48.80 - this seemed extremely expensive! Also we were not informed of the check in process in advance, it would have been useful to be informed of the self check in, rather than having to ring up as the pub was shut on arrival.
