Great little hotel, situated in an older building the rooms are small with shared bathroom. Beds are comfortable and rooms clean, free water, tea and coffee facilities are situated downstairs in a cosy lounge with the Skittles the cat in residence. A short ride away from pier 39.
Would have preferred own toilet and shower but didn’t have a problem with the shared one

Loved that the hotel was local to everything...Great location clean room...and Skittles the house cat was so sweet...
We asked the Hotel for a discount because not 1 of the 3 rooms I booked had TV's that worked....we were there 4 days so it would of been nice to have that...I asked for a discount but they never got back to me...Noone was available when we checked out unfortunately...

Excellent value for money. The hotel includes breakfast and is located very close to Union Square, making it easy to travel around San Francisco.
The hotel has a charming antique feel, which is especially nice if you enjoy history and older architecture. One of my favorite features was the vintage elevator — it is still operating and looks amazing, adding a lot of character to the whole experience.
Overall, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a convenient location, good value, and a hotel with a unique historic atmosphere.
One area that could be improved is the soundproofing. Since the hotel is very close to the street, you can hear some traffic and street noise, especially at night. You may also hear people walking along the hallway and opening or closing doors. Some rooms do not have private bathrooms, so guests using the shared bathrooms can create additional hallway noise.

Il servizio reception, freddo e distaccato quando presente, e dalle cinque PM del pomeriggio completamente assente perché delegato ad un albergo vicino
