Mediceo 42

The property was very modern and high tech considering it is in an older building. Extremely clean and comfortable. Mary welcomed us and explained everything perfectly. Advice given for places to eat.

Everything was great.

The rooms were cozy

The host Roberto was super communicative from the moment we booked. The location is excellent for walking to the historic centre - it was a picturesque 10- 15 min walk. We had the top-floor apartment, where the view was amazing. The apartment was lovely, super clean and modern, with a balcony overlooking the beautiful old red rooftops and mountains in the background. I loved the bathroom! Vito, who met us, was very welcoming, accommodating and informative. Thank you, Vito, for making our short stay so pleasant. We will definitely come back.

Good Location Clean

Standard checkin 2pm. We had asked for 3pm then requested back to 2pm with short notice & wasn’t possible (understandable). No offer to leave luggage. When we arrived at 3pm accommodation was not ready. We got access to our cleaned room at 4pm and “apartment” cleaning continued for a further 40 minutes. We wanted to relax after a hot journey, not immediately possible. Accommodation layout is NOT clear when booking. We didn’t realise there were shared facilities, advert needs to be clearer - my error not reading reviews. No real privacy & you hear everything from adjoining rooms & neighbours (including plumbing & lift). Rules ask for quiet after 2300 hours - it is a residential area, not possible. Main concern after being shown how to access the apartment was the ability that apartment front door could be locked internally preventing the other apartment user(s) from getting in. Plus the ease in which the front door could reopen if not closed properly. We discovered our neighbours accidentally left the door open after returning and they had gone out - whilst you need a card to access our section/room this did not make us feel safe. I alerted Mary. Air conditioning is poor. Have yet reply to the 0402 hours message that woke me up (should have turned off alerts!) reminding me of the checkout policy with keys & hoping I’d had a nice time. Thankfully it was a 1 night stay, otherwise would have relocated.
