The location is perfect and the room nice, breakfast very good. It was calm around even it is in the middle of the city.
I arrived too early and the reception was very unfriendly and not helpfull. When I came back there was another reception and it was very nice and fast.

Vintage hotel just in front of Hamburg hbfs infamous southern entrance. They are renovating it but we are lucky to get one of the inner side premium rooms. The free breakfast was exceptionally good.
* Rooms are hot, with no air condiotioner or small freezer. We could open a window and there was rain overnight. Otherwise, it would difficult to sleep in 30+ C temperature.
* Basic tv with no smart/internet option

The location is amazing. We walked everywhere. The train station just across the road has loads of food options and shops. The beds were super comfortable and the high ceilings in the room made it feel very spacious. The building has a lot of character and is well decorated. The room was modern and very clean. The shower was excellent with great water pressure and temperature control. The staff was friendly and treated us well.
The pillows were all super flat. Could use some that were firmer and fluffier. It wasn’t a problem for us but because there is no air conditioning, the windows had to be left open (which we are fine with because we like fresh air) but the noise is crazy at night and in the early morning. Luckily we are heavy sleepers so it wasn’t a big deal but some light sleepers or families with babies might struggle.

Room is too small and bathroom has to be renovated. Bathroom is very bad.

Ottima posizione per chi deve imbarcarsi in crociera poiché le navette sono proprio lì vicino (almeno MSC).
