Breakfast was amazing with a wide range of foods on offer. The location was exceptional - walking distance to Waverley station and the Royal Mile just around the corner or up the close.
The location of the toilet paper meant that it fell off during use. This was annoying, particularly in the middle of the night. It happened every time.

Great location to Royal Mile, train station, parking, and New Town. The hotel rooms are small but very comfortable and the staff are helpful and nice. The breakfast was also delicious.
Sometimes, it's a little too cold in the room, but that is Scotland.

Great location if travelling by train - 5 minutes from the station. Perfect for picking up bags after a day's sights. Breakfast was very busy and there weren't many tables, but staff were great, explained how long the wait would be and were really friendly. Good selection of food, well cooked. All staff were not just polite and professional, but also friendly.

Lovely decor. Nice little touches in the bedroom, wine, chocolate and a cute coffee maker. Great location. Very clean and comfortable and courteous, helpful staff

Standard hotel but amazing food. Staff were incredible so welcoming couldn’t do enough for us and helped me plan a special proposal. Decorated the room for me and went that extra mile outstanding. Breakfast was all you can eat Buffett and was delicious. Ended up eating breakfast and evening meal here throughout our stay because it was so convenient and good quality, great stay will be back.

The beds were comfy, quiet, great location for walking, staff friendly, clean and the dining was very good. Also a big plus, the bathroom was very clean and no sign of mold.
There needs to be instructions on how to turn on the thermostat. Also, as there was 5 of us, it would have been nice to have the 2 rooms beside each other, but the rooms were on the same floor and only a few doors apart from each other.

Location was perfect for sightseeing & transport links. The staff were so attentive. Just could not fault this hotel .

Super clean and comfortable, and the free glass of Prosecco on arrival was lovely. Even the 24 hour room service was really nice.
Can’t think of anything we didn’t like, we had a fantastic time.

Very clean. Friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Great location for Waverley Train Station and the Royal mile.
Pillows were a little hard for me - not a big thing though.

The location was excellent, the choice for breakfast was great even my daughter had breakfast which never normally does , it was clean and lovely staff
We had to ask for more milk and tea as they didn’t fill it up daily, and we struggled for body wash on the last day as they hadn’t filled that up.

Fantastic position for the Festival
Air conditioning kept turning off in the night and our daughter would wake up in the to turn it back on. I kept overheating

Being at the back our room overlooked the bins, which started being moved at around 7 am and for £800 for 3 nights was overpriced

Location & staff were lovely & very helpful due to BA loosing my luggage
Stairway carpet needs cleaning or replacing. I used the stairway a few times as I was only on level one

Excellent location next to the Royal Mile. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, comfortable and spotless clean. All facilities including mini fridge, iron and hairdryer were included. Coffee pod machine in the room was a lovely touch.
Only 1 of the 2 lifts working in a very large hotel. Long wait times as the lift was often full. Was expensive considering no breakfasts included, however that is Edinburgh.

A lot of building going on,,, noise level during the day was terrible with machinery etc, I need to rest during the day and unfortunately this wasn't possible 😔 The room was lovely and bed very comfortable but just noise during the day and early morning spoiled it for me totally,
