Die Wohnung an sich und die Lage waren perfekt. So stellt man sich Italien vor: kleine Gassen, viele Stufen, ein charmanter Innenhof und wunderschöne Malereien an den Wänden in der gesamten Wohnung.Dank der guten Kommunikation per WhatsApp haben wir die Wohnung nach einer Art Schnitzeljagd auch gefunden. Es war sauber und es war alles da, was man brauchte. Viele kleine Geschäfte und sogar ein versteckter Supermarkt sind in der Nähe. Zum Strand ist es auch nicht sonderlich weit.
Die Parkplatzsituation in Amalfi ist eine komplette Katastrophe. Die Gastgeberin hat sich zwar bemüht, einen Parkplatz zu organisieren, aber wir hätten unser Auto einem wildfremden Menschen übergeben müssen und hätten nicht gewußt, wo es steht. Das kam für uns nicht in Frage. Also haben wir solange an dem einzigen total überfüllten öffentlichen Parkplatz gewartet, bis ein Platz frei wurde......und haben von Montag Mittag bis Mittwoch früh sage und schreibe 250 Euro bezahlt! Auch das Busfahren gestaltet sich als sehr schwierig. Es gibt keine gekennzeichneten Haltestellen. Nur die Einheimischen wissen, wo der Bus hält.

Beautiful apartment that can sleep up to 5 people in two rooms - also kas a small kitchen with fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and cooker. Shared bathroom between the two rooms but all very clean with great artwork on all the walls and a very communicative host.

Great location, not too far from square. Could hand wash clothes and hang on clothes horse in courtyard. Air conditioning was great during heatwave.
Had to climb some steps to get to but to be expected in Amalfi
