About this house rental
Situated in Ship Bottom, this attractive house for $296 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. We do NOT rent to prom groups or college students. We do NOT allow pets. This house can sleep 14 people with steps to the beautiful Surf City Beaches. We purchased this home in 2016 and made significant renovations to provide comfort and fun for the whole family. Our family uses the house and make it comfortable living with that in mind. Since buying it, weinstalled a brand new HVAC unit, replaced some flooring, updated the kitchen, added flood lighting to the backyard, updated bathrooms and more. We have made many upgrades to make this home a great beach house for your family. The house is steps to the beach, without any streets to cross and is walking distance to many restaurants, ice cream, an arcade, miniature golf and much more! Start your family memories and enjoy everything that LBI has to offer! WALK to the beach, several restaurants (Greenhouse Cafe, Woodies Burgers, Pancake House and more all within a couple short blocks walk). WALK to an arcade, ice cream, boutique coffee shop, shopping and more!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My husband and I just wanted to get away for a week in October and it was perfect. Andrew is a great host, responded right away. House is very clean and nicely decorated. If you have kids they have tons of games and toys. Looking forward to starting here again.

We have been renting on LBI for over 20 years and this property is by far the best place we have stayed. Clean, roomy, attentive owner and only a small walk to the beach.

We checked in late in the evening, and Andy stayed up to make sure that we arrived OK. Everything was just as represented. We had two daughters and three grandchildren with us and there was more than enough room. There were toys, books, games, and beach chairs. The Surf City Beach at the end of the block must be the widest beach on LBI. There were plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in an easy walk from the house. We had boxes being sent to the house which Andy was kind enough to help us coordinate their deliveries. I had an expensive SUV rental car substituted for the rental I requested, and I was able to daily park it in the garage without any problem. Andy is a hands on host who bends over backwards to make sure that you have a wonderful stay. We plan to return.

House was as advertised. Location is great, the setup is perfect for 2 families with bedrooms split upstairs and downstairs. The house has so many puzzles/games/wii that the kids will never be bored. Overall, a great experience!

We were in for the week before a family wedding. This house was true to how it is described. Walking distance to beach, bay, restaurants, coffee shop, bagel shops, small grocery shops & larger grocery shops. Very clean house with great updated kitchen, bathrooms and over all amenities. Plenty of seating both inside and outside. Kitchen is well stocked for all kind of cooking and tools.

Great house in a Perfect spot with only steps to the beach!! Listening to the sounds of the surf on the front and back decks was a great way to start the day!! Great place for family and friends!! Highly recommend! We plan to come back again next year! Thank you for a great stay!!

Had a fabulous and relaxing stay at this updated beach house. Beds were very comfortable and the new front and rear decks welcomed you to sit together and enjoy each other during meals and after a day at the beach. We prepared all our meals at the house and the kitchen had everything needed (just could have used a few more wine glasses 😀). Andy was extremely responsive and proactive with communicating. The house is in a great location which made it easily accessible to local produce and seafood markets as well as the grocery store. As walking just a few minutes to the beach was a priority, this house was perfect for us. If we have the opportunity to visit LBI again, Andrews house will be our 1st choice if available.

The property was pretty much as listed on VRBO. We all enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with a variety of cookware. Access to the beach was easy. Everyone enjoyed the outdoor shower. The beds were comfortable. We were not disappointed with any aspect of the rental property.

This house is in a great location with close and easy access to the beach, right by a lifeguard stand AND also within walking distance to many shops and fun activities. Comfortable beds (we have been in houses with some very hard beds!). Delightful front deck with awning when needed. Back deck is very spacious & comfortable. Our family didn't use it too much since indoor access is through master bedroom where we often had an infant napping, however that deck was still accessible via downstairs, outside staircase. Kitchen well supplied with pots/pans but also with some spices/condiments, cleaning supplies etc. The home owner very responsive to questions/inquiries.
Note for anyone who might use outside shower: hot water faucet/valve is on the right ;-)

Perfect location, close to beach and well stocked kitchen. Front porch with sunshade was perfect for all day use. Rear porch is huge for family gatherings/cookouts. Washer dryer comes in handy! Plenty of rear yard space to play with kids or enjoy patio. Outdoor shower is always a plus for sand. Nice dining table if you must eat indoors. Plenty of TVs and games. Location is short walk to huge beach. Owner very responsive to all inquires. Highly recommended by all 9 of us who stayed here for family wedding.
Only bummer was only sheets provided were for King Bed so remember to bring lots of bedding!

The photos and the description do not do this house justice! It was perfect, and I was blown away. The back deck is HUGE and has lots of areas for play and dining. We also made great use of the front deck which had a retractable awning. We had our 16 month old baby with us and being so close to the beach made it really easy to come back to the house quickly for nap time and then go back out again. Walking distance to so many cute restraunts, ice cream/shaved ice shops, coffee shops and other markets - we would absolutely rent this house again!

Comfortable sleeping arrangements that worked well for us and our extended family. Back deck is more spacious than we were expecting with plenty of seating. My family and I enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this beautiful home and all it had to offer. We were steps from the beach and on a great street, perfect for our four kids under 6 to enjoy riding their bikes. The front deck seemed recently updated and is where we spent most of our time when at the house. There was plenty of space for our group of 10 to spread out, but still spend quality time together. The listing is exactly what you'll get- you will not be dissappointed!

My family and I had a great experience at this property. The check-in process is super easy and the owners are very kind and most importantly accessible. The house is literally just steps away from the beach and you can walk to everything (fresh produce, seafood markets, restaurants, convenience stores, etc.). Our visit was made very comfy with top notch appliances, a laundry room, a great kitchen, and amazing outdoor decks. You can't go wrong with this property. I highly recommend it!

We had a great time - the house was well kept, and well supplied for a week at the beach with our kids and our extended family (ages from 4mo to 97!). Easy access to the beaches, great access to downtown surf city, and well positioned to get to either end of LBI in fifteen minutes by car if you want to see the lighthouse/Bay Village. Thanks!

The house was 4th from the beach. Easy walk for coffee, food, ice cream and mini golf. The owner was attentive and a pleasure to deal with. I would absolutely stay here again.

Five stars are not enough for this beach house. To have all the comforts of home and so much more, just steps from Surf City’s beach can’t be beat.
The kitchen and appliances are top notch. There is no shortage of anything. You can easily entertain and sleep a large family. The front and back decks are fabulous and there is more than enough outdoor furniture.
There’s a plethora of entertainment options for the little ones (board games, video game systems, dvds, etc..) as well as the adults (large flat screen TVs, DVD players, high speed WiFi and excellent cable tv service).
The owner, Andrew, is very helpful and highly attentive if you need anything during your stay. If you love LBI and Surf City, you can beat this house!

Such a nice place so close to the beach. We had some rainy days but were close enough to go to the beach in between rain. Really nice and clean with plenty of space that we could have family visit. The owners were kind and easy to talk to, it's clear that they use this home to vacation also. Making plans to visit again next year!

This was the first time my family ever rented a beach house "after the summer" and it was a very good week. We were at the beach each and everyday of our stay. The house included my husband and daughter, my mother and father, and my brother and sister - although my parents could not stay for the whole week. There was plenty of rooms for everyone. The deck both in front of the house and in back were great for sitting outside at night for dinner and then to relax. The house is not even 50 yards from the entrance to the beach, so with a 2 1/2 year old this was a great way to get to the beach quick and return quick if necessary.
When we arrived the house was very clean, it had a big pantry to store food for the week and a good size refrigerator for food and drink. There were plenty of bathrooms and a great working washer and dryer on the ground floor.
The houses location is great - located in Surf City - it is located right off the main drag Long Beach Blvd. This gives you quick access to restaurants, stores, etc.
Overall my family had a great time and look forward to next year!

We had such a great time! This "home away from home" was cozy and plenty of space which was great since we had some rainy days during our stay. It was so close to the beach and so convenient. Loved it! Hope to return again soon.

Easy home for the whole family and more. We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this house. Surf City is the perfect location for easy acces to stores, restaurants, and the causeway. The beach is just steps away from the house and not a hassle to go home for lunch. The set up and the decor of the house is everything you want in a beach house. The website pictures are accurate. We had a wonderful time and staying here brought back such wonderful memories from my childhood. The owner is always accessible and very easy to work with. Just remember... life is easy on LBI and staying here enhanced that feel. Highly recommended!!!

This is our 2nd time to LBI and first to stay in a beach home and what a great home it was!! Though we weren't there much at the house, it met out expectations and could not beat the location. Just few yards from the beach. You are located nearby to many of the restaurants, shops, etc. along the boulevard and if you had to drive, places where 5-10 minutes away. We wish we could have stayed another week. Andrew the owner was outstanding and very open to giving information on the house. You do have to rent bed sheets and towels, if you chose that route or bring your own if you live close by. We went with LBI Dreamakers for renting those items. Good company. We had 4 teenage girls along with my wife and I and had ample room on the house. Did not need anything bigger. House is kept up to date! There are those whom we had to shoo away, they actually tried to park in our driveway for the day to get to the beach. Great house, highly recommend to stay there. We will be back.

We had such a great time! The house is so close to the beach it was like living on the beach. The outdoor shower is so clean and has a real door. The house had everything we were looking for and more. It is decorated so nicely and had games for the kids. Our stay was really comfortable, it was like staying with friends. A home away from home.
