Great time the only problem was the washing machine was not working

As lifelong gal pals we’ve been coming to this cabin for more than 20 years to enjoy a girl’s weekend in the woods. We wouldn’t go anywhere else! This year, we were treated to a newly renovated bathroom and along with the usual comforts which we enjoy so much. Highly recommend.

Quiet, well equipped cabin. Good location for hiking, fishing, and biking.

The cabin was a cozy getaway to unwind and enjoy the sounds of Nature. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen and explored the property. Took advantage of hiking the nearby trail to Red Hill Tower and hope to get back next year to try fishing. Mary was so kind to work with our schedule when we had a health issue.

This cabin was the perfect for my brothers, husband and me. We explored the property and the river in the back yard…ate ripe apples that we picked from the tree in the yard. This was the perfect place to share memories of our father, grandparents, and great grandparents this weekend. We enjoyed exploring the school house in Claryville where our Dad had once attended school.

Exactly what our family needed. Cabin and property were amazing and had everything we needed. Despite not catching any fish, we loved relaxing on the river bank. We cannot wait to go back. We also enjoyed nearby hiking and kayaking.

This house was everything that my family wanted for a week in nature... secluded but still had WiFi and TV, a beautiful river in the backyard, and close enough to hikes and food. We spent afternoons playing in the river while my husband caught some brook trout and other days hiking. We even drove to a Hudson Valley Renegades minor league baseball game! Mary was amazing- easy to communicate with, even though we didn't have any issues while we were there. We would definitely come back again!

We spent the weekend at this little cabin and really enjoyed it. We did the 4 mile hike (round trip) to the fire tower (trail starts down the road) and enjoyed using the riverside fire ring. The kids and dog enjoyed wading in the river. We even saw a bear at dusk. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner. Both our teenager and 8 year are already asking to return. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

We had a really nice stay in the Catskills. Property was exactly as advertised. Communication with owner was excellent.

My two sisters and I and our two dogs came to the cabin for a 3 day quiet trip. Just what we all needed! The rustic cabin is equipped with everything you need and Mary is a fantastic host. Sitting by the stream will wash away all your worries. Great trip and will definitely be back!

Coming from the City, my family continues to enjoy the rustic beauty of the cabin in the ideal setting of the Catskills. Mary communicates very well with her guests & is a great host. Terrific cabin, lovely yard, easy stay

Pulling up to this cabin we knew we picked the right place! My husband, 2 dogs and I stayed here over the weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday. The pictures don't do it justice! The porch is so nice, it rained our first night but we were still able to sit out there and just relax. The river out back was beautiful and the dogs loved our walks around the property. We stopped in Liberty and got groceries on our way there, and cooked all our meals except lunch on Saturday at the cabin. It has pots/pans/utensils etc (just remember any spices/seasoning you might need)! We saw a TON of deer, as well as turkeys, woodchucks, and chipmunks! The Claryville cabin is honestly the perfect combination of a quiet mountain retreat and still having all the amenities you might need like wifi or a tv (although we tried to unplug as much as possible this weekend 😉)! Second year in a row coming up to Claryville cabin with old friends. The property and location are excellent. Comfortable and pleasant. Could not ask for anything more.

Great cabin for a getaway to just relax from our busy lives. Very relaxing, and the cabin is very cozy, well stocked and setup is awesome. Loved the river in the back of the cabin. Mary was great, thank you for everything. She went the extra mile for my special weekend. 😊Definitely will be back.

We (me and two friends) had a great time at Mary’s cabin. It is a very cozy home with plush furniture, comfortable beds, a nice woodstove insert (wood included), a small but efficient kitchen and a beautiful river about 100’ from the back of the house. There is a stone circle fire pit by the river that was very enjoyable. The dining area can easily seat 6 people and is very convenient to the kitchen. There is only one bathroom that was not a problem for the three of us but may be somewhat problematic if you had more guests in your party but definitely not a deal breaker by any stretch. Four beds are up stairs and one downstairs and we all slept well and commented on the comfortable beds. Lots of hiking trails nearby (very close) and of course fishing if you’re here during fishing season. Civilization is about a 30 minute drive in any direction. It that makes it very peaceful and serene at Mary’s place. Mary dropped by once to give us some kindling for the woodstove which was nice and lives nearby if anything is needed. She is easily contacted and responds in a very timely manner but this does fell invasive on your stay at all. It was a great stay and I highly recommend Mary’s place for a nice quiet, calm and relaxing weekend in the Catskills. Thanks for everything Mary!!! Jeff and friends

We enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you need. Not much to do in the area but relax...so if you're looking for a relaxing get away this is for you. We loved sitting by the stream and listening to the sounds of nature.

Taking vacation and including the dogs has been a huge part of our family so deciding on a place that is pet friendly is what Claryville cabin was all about. They loved the river and the spacious backyard.

It is a wonderful place in the country. Great for a weekend fishing and hanging by the fire.

The cabin and property are exactly what you need for a relaxing getaway whether you’re a couple or family. So many great hiking trails and waterfalls not to far away. Throw a stew into the crockpot, go hiking, come back enjoy your meal in front of the fire.

It may be hard to believe but we are an older couple (mid 70's) who needed a quiet and relaxing week away, and this was the perfect place for us. The cabin was great and the property is amazing. Mary was very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed soaking in the vibe of the Catskills.

Well kept cabin with a nice back area - gas grill, stream, lots of wood for campfires. Our kids loved sleeping upstairs in the loft area. The hosts are really responsive.

Just like getting invited to your relative's cabin. Rustic look and decor but with all the modern necessities. Mary was very responsive when I had a couple questions. Loved sitting on the front porch with morning coffee/tea, watching the hummingbirds come to the red flowers! So much to explore on the property (and even more in the local area).

This was our third time staying here in 3 years. It is so relaxing and quiet which is much needed living in an urban environment. We absolutely love it!

What a delightful cabin for our visit to Claryville. The stars at night are like no others. With a million lightning bugs and cool breezes, the very best that the Catskills has to offer.
