About this house rental

Nestled in Hayward, this lovely house for $339 per night is a great option for your next break. Up to 16 people can stay in this modern 5 bedroom and 2 bath house! Massage chair! Master, bedroom 1 and 2 has a queen bed each. Bedroom 3 has a full top and full bottom bunk bed. Bedroom 4 and 5 have a twin top and full bottom bunk bed each. Living room and bedroom 5 have a twin sleeper sofa each. Well equipped kitchen. Free driveway and street parking. Wi-Fi, washer and dryer provided. Close to Chabot College, mall, Oakland Coliseum, Oracle Arena, Levi's Stadium and Oracle Park as well as Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose Airports.

This review is on the property only (the host is actually very responsive and nice). This property is definitely not as nice as the description or pictures. This property is looks run down, there are spider webs everywhere outside the property. When we first arrived, we walked through several spider webs inside the house, the house felt dusty and hot (there is no AC and no ceiling fans in the rooms). We tried to air out the house but the master bedroom window had no screen, so we could not open the window (and chose not to open it so no spiders or other bugs/animals would come inside). There was also no screen door for the patio area, which would have allowed for a lot of air flow, so we also had it closed because there was a stray cat on the property and didn't want anything to get inside the house. The mattresses on the beds were cheap, not comfortable. The bed sheets in the master bedroom looked dirty, and we were considering washing them in the washer/dryer on the property but there were also wet sheets in the washer and I did not want to touch them. I ended up buying new sheets and used them on the master bedroom bed cause I was not comfortable with the sheets provided. One of the other guests said she heard a mouse in her room one night (never saw it though). Our group made the best of our stay, but I would never book this property again.
