Exceptionally clean, welcoming and enjoyable to spend time both in and around. Location is quiet enough for relaxing but also in same block pub, take aways and general store to cater for all travellers. Handy for Main Street for even more
amenities.
River and hill views as well as leisure centre and nearest supermarket all within sight from cosy dining area in bay window space of living room.
Perfect hosting, well over and above the general level of amenities and supplies were provided, and if struggle to choose between the hefty welcome basket or the TV bed as my personal fave features!
The property and whole experience Mike provides in anyway is impossible to fault.
Staircase access isn’t ideal for all, but stone, spiral entries are typical of this type of property and the flat itself with its space, views and period features is well worth it. I myself suffer from arthritis and parking behind the flat cut out main climb, and just taking things slowly and steadily with handrail caused me little problem.

This little apartment is very clean an tidy with everything you require for stay they also very kindly leave you a welcome pack it is very quiet and easy walk to town centre I would definitely recommend

Facilities, provision of snacks and juices plus a light breakfast. Very comfortable bed, roomy, modern lounge, well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Everything thing had been thought of.
Very difficult to locate carpark, despite written instructions. Instructions said "Princess St" but it is in fact "Princes St". To find the street it would have helped to have a street number but perhaps there isn't one for the carpark. Had to park and walk to find the archway access.
A few other points: because we arrived at the back of the property we didn't know the apartment was on the third floor, only on walking around the street to the front we found it is 3/3. Also, not enough lighting in the stairwell in the evening. Needs a hand-hold in the shower.

This flat far exceeded expectations. Very well equipped, the owners have thought of everything. I had occasion to call Mike (the owner). He could not have been more helpful.

Mike was really accommodating to us, we had a long drive early that morning to Hawick and we were able to check in a little bit early to get ourselves sorted for a family event that was starting at 2. The hamper was a really nice touch and the apartment had everything and more that you could need. Nice view of the river out the front window and great value for money.
Check out was at 11am but the cleaner just came walking into the apartment at 10:45 without knocking, thankfully we were just finishing up packing and not walking out of a shower. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable, however, it's a bed where the tele comes out of the bottom, for me this was not a problem but my partner being 6ft4 this wasn't OK for him as he was too tall for the bed. That being said, this wouldn't put us off staying here again

Very clean & comfortable flat with a great view across Hawick, also the kitchen was very well equipped with a lovely extra touch of a basket of goodies to help yourself. Parking just outside on street. Would highly recommend if in or around this pretty borders area.

The decorations was modern with a folderable tv at the end of bed. Snacks and drinks were provided. And the host Mike was easily approachable.
The people living downstairs used weeds the afternoon when we arrived. There is nothing the host can do with it. But I think if you have children, you might want to know this

Great apartment, and perfect location to go walking into town. Very comfortable and nicely decorated. The welcome hamper was a lovely surprise!!! We also enjoyed a takeaway from the close by Indian restaurant.

Property was very well appointed- spotlessly clean, very modern and tastefully furnished. It was exceptionally well equipped, had everything you could possibly need. And a welcome basket with ‘goodies’ which went down well
The only downside was that the fish and chip shop two doors along was closed for holidays! We were so looking forward to a fish supper for dinner the day we arrived and had to order one to be delivered instead

The apartment was exactly as shown in the photos and spotlessly clean. There are lots of little personal touches that make it feel like a proper home and everything you could possibly need is catered for.
We met with Mike who is a true gentleman and made sure we were happy with our booking.

Well equipped kitchen. Nice welcome pack but also milk and bread with jam and butter packs in fridge. Not sure if things in cupboard were available to use! Large tv which luckily my companion was able to use as I wouldn't have a clue about,
and no chance of using the one at bottom of bed! Very quiet and lovely view over any buildings of the countryside
The two flights of winding concrete stairs which I hadn't realised until the day before we were going. As two 70+ ladies and not very fit this would have certainly have made me think twice before booking. Carrying our bags up and down was not easy. I know the owner can't do anything about this, if anything it was too modern for me.

I absolutely loved my stay ,iwas very impressed with this booking.the place is spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated with lots of great finishing touching,very comfortable indeed ,I shall be looking forward to booking again in the near future and will most definitely share this great find with friends and family. Thankyou once again for such a pleasant stay.

View from apartment was lovely, flat was fully equipped with everything and more than we needed! Easy to get in and out with no hassle, beds were all very comfortable and the flat was in perfect condition!

Wonderful flat and the biggest welcome basket I have ever seen, stocked with every treat imaginable!
The flat felt like home-from-home with everything you might need and more.
The host was super speedy on returning the safety deposit which was good.
The stairs are very windy and quite narrow at times so was a bit of a struggle with some of our luggage and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone who is a little less stable on their feet.

Where do I start? In a nutshell this place is exceptional. The contact with the staff was amazing & the information they gave us was perfect & east to follow when required. It was situated on the underrated Borders Abbey Way, which we were halfway through at this time & to have access to such a phenomenal property after such a hard walk was mind blowing & a massive relief. The info guide in the apartment was perfect with no questions we had left unanswered. The welcome pack they supplied really was appreciated & truly hit the spot. To have access to a washing machine & cleaning products was also very appreciated, especially after 3days of walking. It was decorated beautifully & my wife fell in love with the Steve Brown inspired rug in the living room. There was also recycling facilities which is a massive plus point for us. There isn’t enough space for me to keep saying how great this place is, I just hope everyone gets a chance to find out & we will definitely be back!
