Situated almost at the tip of the peninsula Gun Point on Great Island, this location offers spectacular views of Casco Bay. Facing southwest, one can behold outstanding sunsets behind Orr's and Bailey Islands across Gun Point Cove, and admire the vastness of the open sea of Casco Bay beyond, all while soaking in the warmth of the setting sun. The 3 bedroom well kept cape is on the ocean's edge. The movement of the tidal waters will soothe and relax you making your getaway one you will not soon forget. For children of all ages, the bathing cove, formed by the ledges and right in the front, offers great fun for swimming at high tide and exploring tidal pools for sea creatures at low tide not to leave out the collection of seashells of all shapes and sizes. And for the older, experienced swimmers, there is a dock occasionally shared with owners for deep water swimming during any tide. It is a very quiet spot yet close to public beaches. Sight seeing drives through quaint coastal towns is a must. You will not be disappointed. Come and experience what living on the Maine coast is all about!

Comfortable accommodations, welcoming host and beautiful location for family and friends. Farmers markets, historic towns, music, theater, hiking, kayaking and other activities nearby. All kinds of shopping, tours, and entertainment are available in Portland, an hour away. A little further south there’s outlet shopping at Freeport. We have stayed here for years and plan to continue.

This was a very clean, tidy, and lovely home on the rock cliffs with its own swimming hole at high tide. It was convenient for shopping and visiting quaint gift shops. Sunset views were phenomenal!The owner is very friendly and helpful with answers to our questions about local places to visit. I would stay here again in the future.

The house was welcoming and right on the water. The views were amazing over the water. The beds were comfortable. We launched our kayaks from the dock. We found seaglass in the tidal pool and waded and swam during high tide. The deck was large and had plenty of seating.

We had a fabulous stay sipping hot tea each morning on the deck overlooking the beautiful waterfront. We also enjoyed launching our kayaks from the dock and swimming off the dock. Liliette was kind and helpful to answer any questions we had. It’s a gem!

There was so much to love about this place! Such an amazing view from the large windows in the open kitchen / living room area. The house is very clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Tide pool exploring was top notch, and the floating dock was our favorite place to relax - beautiful sunsets, the birds, fish jumping out of the water, the lobster boats, and we even saw some seals. Plenty of great places to eat and to explore within 30 min. A few things of note: no washer/dryer, but Brunswick has several laundromats. The two queen beds are very comfortable, but the twin beds aren't particularly. The two upstairs bedrooms (a twin set in one, queen in the other) have amazing views of the ocean, the main floor queen bedroom is on the back side of the house. The house is situated between two others, so not super private if that is what you are looking for, but still has a secluded feel being in a wooded area, and a mile and a half down a dirt road with 20 mph speed limit. Liliette is a wonderful host, very friendly and accessible for any questions, help or suggestions. This was our favorite vacation rental in Maine that we have stayed at. Grateful for such a wonderful place to for our vacation!

We had a wonderful week staying at this property. The house was immaculate and had all of the items we needed for cooking, etc. The beach and tidal pools were great for the kids to explore. All around great stay!

Very nice home in a perfect location for a Maine getaway. We had a wonderful time and we couldn't have picked a better location. The view of cove out on the back deck made for some nice sunsets.

My family of five (kids age 10, 7, and 4) just had the most amazing stay at this property. It’s full of unique original charm, was super clean upon check in and freshly stocked with linens and all that we needed to be comfortable. The host was warm and welcoming - she greeted us at the property and saw us off at the end of our stay. My kids loved the deep water dock swimming and the cove was perfect for finding creatures and swimming/exploring in shallower water. The view of the cove at night took our breath away! The location was also perfect for day tripping to explore other local areas. We hope to return one day!

We had great time. The weather wasn't perfect but it's a great spot for relaxing. The house is simple but clean. Our host was very helpful. We definitely would recommend staying on Long Point.

My husband, 9-year old son and I truly enjoyed our stay. The house is perfectly situated for kayaking, swimming, fishing and bird watching. Liliette was a wonderful host and the house was very clean and had everything we needed. We rented kayaks for the week from H2Outfitters. We hope to be back next year.

My family had a vacation we will never forget in Harpswell.The property is ideal for all kinds of activities - swimming, fishing, snorkeling, picking mussels for dinner and sitting back to watch the boats go by. We purchased a pair of binoculars midweek to better view seals, bald eagles and boats. Beautiful property and excellent accommodations. Very nice hosts!

Liliette was attentive and welcoming. My kids loved the cove. They floated in it when it was high and hunted for hermit crabs when it was low. My husband took his paddle board out several times. Great view. Very relaxing. Hope to stay again next year.
