Nestled on a mountain with a beautiful unobstructed view and very quiet. Loved sitting in the hot tub and on the back porch. Hendersonville is a very walkable quaint town with plenty of shops and eats and only a short distance away. We also hit Asheville and hiked there as well as hiking at Chimney Rock. Had a very relaxing stay.

As the description stated, the view was terrific. Beautiful location, and great seclusion and privacy. The cabin was outfitted adequately. The cabin is in need of some repairs for doors that don’t close, cabinet drawers off track & other needed items, etc.Biggest complaint would be cleanliness/prep for arrival. While the sinks & countertops etc., were clean, many areas were not. Some dishes were dirty, Lazy Susan’s and cabinets had crumbs and food stains in them.When we arrived, we went down to the hot tub. There was quarter inch of pollen across the hot tub cover. We’re in the season but it’s obvious that no one stopped out in advance to prep the cabin for our arrival. Also, there’s a lot of dried leaves, sticks, etc under the steps to the hot tub, under the deck, on the walkway, etc. It’s obvious those have not been cleaned up last year.They have plenty of blankets in the family room to snuggle up but we had to wash them first as they had a pet/unpleasant smell. Great selection of books and games and a pool table. Unfortunately the pool table had no chalk and some of the cues were missing tips. Definitely required for playing pool. Nice grill, but brush had no bristles left & was caked with grease. We bought a new one and left it for the next visitors.Overall, it was an enjoyable stay and the cabin, offered some nice amenities, a great view, and great privacy. A little more attention to detail and finesse could’ve made this a Five Star experience.
