The facilities were kept very clean, the staff were lovely, and the location is close to a good metro station and several nice restaurants. The price was great for Paris. I'll stay again if I'm looking for a cheap private place to sleep and leave my stuff while exploring the city all day.
It was quite noisy in the corridor (bring earplugs), the room got rather hot even with a fan, and only having one toilet and shower on each floor was somewhat limiting. I didn't like having to hand in my key every time I left the building - it made me somewhat anxious not having guaranteed access to my room 24/7. Also having to pay extra for a 5 min shower seemed a bit harsh, but considering there is only one shower on each for it makes sense to ensure noone hogs it for ages.

The hotel is okay overall. The shared bathroom is small but clean, and the shared shower was also clean and well maintained.
My main concern is the pricing policy. I only realized afterward that the price I paid through Booking.com was almost twice the rate advertised on the hotel's own website for the same stay. This felt misleading (to say the least!) and I would strongly recommend anyone against doing their reservation through Booking.com.
