Die Lage war einfach nur traumhaft. Wer Ruhe und viel Natur sucht ist hier genau richtig. Der Blick auf Motovun unvergleichlich. Die Bäume sind jetzt schon etwas größer (dafür spenden sie jetzt Schatten), aber auf der Wiese gleich neben dem Haus haben wir jeden Morgen und Abend diesen Anblick und die Ruhe genossen. Wer einen Strandtag einlegen möchte ist auch innerhalb von ca. 30 Minuten an der Adria, mit einer Fahrt durch das traumhafte Mirna-Tal.
Im Haus war alles da, was man braucht und wenn eine Kleinigkeit gefehlt hatte, kein Problem. Unsere Gastgeber waren sehr lieb und haben gleich unseren einzigen Wunsch erfüllt: ein Wasserschlauch um sich draußen mal schnell abzukühlen. Schön wäre noch eine kleine Überdachung der Terrasse, zum Schutz vor Sonne und Regen, damit man auch bei Regen draußen sitzen und dem Regen zuschauen kann. Vielleicht im nächsten Jahr ;-) ? Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit, sie war einfach zu kurz, aber wir haben sie sehr genossen. LG Christian & Annett

First of all, I would like to mention that the access to the house is completely paved. Although we were a little shaken by the number of bad reviews and descriptions from previous visitors, we decided to come because it all seemed a bit excessive to us. And we were right.
The house is tidy, as is its environment. The owners are attentive and available for all questions.
In Istria, you really have a handful of locations to visit and quite a few good taverns and restaurants with excellent local food. We enjoyed our visit, and our dog was also free to roam the forest behind the facility and the truffle farm located right next to the facility. The object is located in a quiet area with complete peace, far from people, just what we were looking for. I recommend this accommodation, which is just right for two people.
Maybe it needs more options for preparing food in the facility itself, but we ate in restaurants anyway because we were exploring Istria every day.

This has been my favourite holiday in years! It is exactly the place you want to go to if you want to get away from everything and relax. The view is unbelievable, the house is right at the end of a forest, which means you can go for very long nature walks… and there is a truffle grove right next to it, which makes the location even dreamier! The family is so generous and welcoming, they made my stay brilliant. I even went truffle hunting with them, and afterwards had a delicious truffle meal as they taught us about truffles - so would definitely recommend doing that. They know so much about the region and have helped us organise wine tastings, and recommended things to do - they went above and beyond. The road to the house has been newly paved, so it is all asphalt up to the house - which was my only concern because of the previous reviews - so all good on that front. All in all, I feel the previous reviews were unnecessarily harsh and I am really glad we ended up booking this! It was well equipped, comfortable, with an unbeatable view… 100% recommend!!!

Die Aussicht und die Terrasse sind das absolute Highlight der Unterkunft. Die Ruhe dort kann man wirklich genießen. Generell verirrt sich kaum jemand bis dorthin, da es sich um das letzte Haus der Straße handelt und danach nur noch der Wald beginnt.
Die Gastgeber sind super nett und man fühlt sich direkt gut aufgehoben.
Das größte Problem waren für mich zunächst die Kleidermotten, die sich leider im Haus befinden.
Auch die generelle Ausstattung entsprach für mich nicht ganz dem Preis der Unterkunft. Zum Kochen ist zwar grundsätzlich alles vorhanden, allerdings wirkte einiges entweder nicht ausreichend gepflegt oder nicht gründlich gereinigt. Das fängt beispielsweise beim Espressokocher an, dessen Dichtungsring verschimmelt war. Kaffee war daher für mich nur mit einem eigenen Filter eine Option.
Das zweite Manko, und darüber darf man bei einer Unterkunft direkt am Wald durchaus lachen, sind die unzähligen Motten und Mücken im Haus. Natürlich befindet man sich mitten in der Natur und muss dementsprechend mit Insekten rechnen. Die Menge hat allerdings selbst das übertroffen, was ich in einer Hütte im Urwald auf Sri Lanka erlebt habe.
Wer mit vielen kleinen Tierchen kein Problem hat, beim Kochen über die genannten Mängel hinwegsehen kann und auch ein durchgelegenes Bett nicht als störend empfindet, kann hier vor allem die Ruhe, die Aussicht und die tolle Lage genießen. Wer sich an diesen Punkten allerdings stört, sollte sich eher nach einer anderen Unterkunft umsehen.
