Reasonably priced. Decent location from station.
Lack of a kettle and water. Lack of decent food outlets in immediate vicinity.

Location, a good place to stay for a solo traveller or packpacker.
It was my first time to stay in a room without a table, chair, kettle, hairdryer....

The room was clean and the shower was hot and consistent.
I guess it was fine for what it was, but given my time again I'd have paid £20 more and had a proper hotel, it wasn't like it was sensationally cheap. The walls were very thin and I didn't particularly enjoy hearing from some of my neighbours. The hotel was basic and stripped back as you'd expect, no issue with that, but the problem with cheap hotels is usually more about those you're sharing the place with than the room or staff of the hotel. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't stay here if I was a lone female.
