Lovely village with great views over valley
Accommodation was clean comfortable and well appointed
Joy, the host, provided appropriate communication while respecting our privacy
As there was a temporary issue with the water supply to the village Joy took action to raise the issue with Severn Trent and provide us with drinking water
Heat wave - Alternative bedding would have been useful e.g replacing duvet with top sheet

Lovely location lovely features, great comms from owner.
Could be gorgeous.. looking tired. No shower, bath steps are dangerous.

The owner was lovely and very helpful (especially when i got lost).
The accommodation was well stocked with utensils, microwave etc and a huge range cooker even had washer dryer.
Towels etc were available and also they had left milk, tea, coffee, biscuits and wine to welcome me and offered treats for my dogs.
Accommodation was very quaint with that cottage feeling, but the bathroom was very modern with a huge jacuzzi bath!
Accommodation was part of a courtyard and I met some of the permanent residents who were all warm and welcoming and my dogs were happy to make some new friends.
Private parking in the courtyard a few steps from your door.
Easy driving distance to Bakewell or £7 in a taxi if you wanted to drink. Also a bus into Bakewell with a stop close to the accommodation.
I would 100% stay there again if I go back to Bakewell.
2nd bedroom was unusable for me but great for children, safety gate on door and bottom bunk bed floor level so safe for very young children.
I had meant to originally be going with my adult son, didnt think this would be a problem as accommodation had double bed and bunk beds so I'd said I'd sleep in the bunk bed as he is quite tall. I'm glad he didn't make it as the bottom bunk was floor level great for young children so they dont fall more than the height of a matress but not ideal for an adult who wouldn't have been able to climb onto top bunk as I doubt I could have got up unaided from the bottom bunk. Accommodation is definitely geared up for family with younger children not for 2 separation adult sleeping arrangements.
Not really an issue as such but something to be aware of... Accommodation was difficult to find as satnav took me to wrong place, when near you need to look for road names and ignore satnav and Google maps! I got really close and when I rang host lost in the dark she came and found me ( I was only about 100 yards away in the end)
