*Good location - 5 minutes walk to An Hai beach, as well as local seafood restaurants
*Friendly and helpful staff. Always greeted you when you went in and out the front door. Small hotel, nice family feel about it. Other guests were respectful of quiet time (2200 - 0700 hours).
*Breakfast included - hearty delicious Vietnamese style. Kind lady who made breakfast always offering me more food - so much so that there was no need to eat lunch!
*Good value for money - clean, Vietnamese style rooms. Room service available daily if one so wished.
*Environmentally conscious - water filter machines on each level (no plastic water bottles provided for guests). Great to see small actions to reduce waste on Con Dao island!
As I prefer to stay at smaller, local style hotels and do not expect a full buffet breakfast, there is nothing I can fault about Thai Binh Hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Staff ,clean rooms,location ,breakfast.
Noisy.
My stay was ruined by the noisy inconsiderate tour groups that seem to frequent this hotel.
There were signs asking people to be quiet between 10pm and 7am but I was woken on 3 days out of 4 at 5am by people talking loudly.

- central location
- if you can speak with the owner you’re lucky. he speaks ok english and helps you where needed
- cheap
- the most annoying part was the noise. It was because of the construction of the building. if someone moves a chair 2 floors higher you even hear it really loud.
- really nice to have a golden lift, but the rooms can use some upgrade
- doors of the room where in glass. in the night light came in
- room was not cleaned every day
- staff didn’t speak english and didn’t do the effort to translate by phone or help you in another way
