About this house rental
This beautiful single family home is located in the Town of Saratoga, just 15 minutes from Downtown Saratoga Springs, Skidmore College and the most beautiful racetrack in the country! Three bedrooms (including a main with en-suite bath), three full baths, gas fireplace, Seasonal Screen in Porch with TV, Seasonal Pool, Breakfast Nook, Dining Area, Beautiful Kitchen with island, finished basement with lots more space and a Steam Room, and tons of light and outdoor areas (including a wonderful front porch, back deck, as well as a large front lawn). Nature surrounds you, but you are close to all that Saratoga Springs has to offer. Located at the foothills of the Adirondacks, it's a great base for ski trips, hiking, and camping. It's a bird watchers paradise!!

Joshua's place was a FANTASTIC place to use as a "homebase" for touring the Saratoga Springs area. We were in town to tour historical sites and the close proximity to Saratoga National Battlefield, U.S. Grant's Cottage and even Ft. Ticonderoga (a short hour+ drive through the beautiful countryside) was the best feature.
The natural and serene community surrounding the house made you feel a world away from the city yet it was only a short drive to wonderful restaurants, shopping and the race track. We were there 2 weeks before the Belmont race but could already see the preparations and what a site that track is.
The house itself was wonderful - the host had all the essentials in the kitchen but who wants to cook on vacation with the restaurant choices??? There was a grill for our use, a great patio and pool area and PLENTY of space inside for the quiet night time gathering to wind down after a day on the go.
Finally - the "house book" Joshua put together gives you all instructions clearly so that if you had any questions, you could find the answer very quickly. He also had great suggestions of restaurants, cafes, shopping, etc. so that you're getting info from a local and not google.
We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and definitely recommend this place to anyone looking in this area.
