We thoroughly enjoyed our family stay at Guri Guesthouse. This charming traditional house is located close to the historic part of Gjirokastër, within walking distance of the castle, the old bazaar, and the Ali Pasha Bridge (make sure to wear comfortable hiking shoes, as the area is quite steep).
The rooms are well-equipped, clean, and comfortable. Marsel is a fantastic host, always ready to help, responding promptly to messages, and even parking your car for you, which is very appreciated in the narrow streets of the old town.
The traditional breakfast (on the terrace - view of the castle) was excellent and a highlight of our stay.
We highly recommend Guri Guesthouse and would happily stay there again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Amazing location and view, super friendly staff and nice bed.
I feel the breakfast could’ve been abit better, it was nice just small and for the price there could’ve been more. But still good.

Beautiful old building, close to the centre. Staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly. Big rooms. Lovely home cooked dinner. Good breakfast.
Shower could do with replacing, did not work wells big room with 2 single beds and a double, they looked lovely but double was very hard. Extra sheet would have been good on the double bed. Otherwise all was good.
