This cozy basement studio apartment has a separate entrance with a view and access to the private lake. Located only 10 miles south of Seatac Airport, 20 miles south of Seattle, and only 10 miles north of Tacoma. We are close to the Aquatic Training Center, many shops and restaurants and 20 miles from White River Amphitheatre. A retreat for a couples weekend get-away, traveling business professionals or a vacation family that needs a private space to relax.

This is an outstanding property. It is impeccably equipped for comfort and convenience. No detail was overlooked. Theresa is friendly, easy to communicate with, and punctual to answer questions. The lakeside location and view is beautiful. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

This was a very nice property. It was clean and well stocked. I recommend staying at the property. Communication between Vrbo, the property owner(s), and me was a challenge but overcome with a little tenacity. Vrbo's interface was difficult to navigate and their customer service was time consuming as I had to spend time with two representatives as the first was unable to resolve the initial conflict. But overall the stay was very nice.

Beautifully landscaped property. Picture perfect view of the lake all day. Motion detector lighting was a delight when leaving or returning after sundown. A great base choice for our vacation-close to everything we needed and everywhere we wanted to go. Very impressed with the decor and layout upon entering. Wowsers! I loved the live plants and the cozy electric fireplace. Kitchen had everything I needed to relax and enjoy preparing our breakfast and dinner meals. Large bathroom with a very roomy shower. We used the king and roll away bed-both were very comfortable. Puzzles, games, and books for all ages was a nice touch. We always felt secure and comfortable while staying here. The hosts were wonderfully considerate and it was such a pleasure to meet them. Mirror Lake B&B is first on my list of places to stay when my daughter and I return next year.

This should not be on VRBO we expected to have our own private place and we show up and it’s the down stairs of a house. Trying to sleep and hear dogs running around upstairs and people walking around loudly. Also we get a text at 10pm at night saying sorry it’s my sons birthday and he is down by the water with friends he should be quite. Over all place was very nice and great location but definitely should not be allowed on VRBO.

The lakefront apartment was prefect in everyway. The view, the bed, the location, the fireplace. We could not have been happier. We absolutely recommend this apartment for a couples getaway!

The place was perfect in every aspect. Clean, well stocked, quiet, close to restaurants, shopping and easy access to thoroughfares. The patio with a fire pit next to the water was my favorite spot to end the day with a glass of wine.

This was a beautiful place with a great location. Tucked away in the heart of Federal Way. The owners did an awesome job in communication. Very quiet and peaceful. Just the right amount of room to relax and enjoy a glass of wine by the lake We will definitely Oglethorpe come back here when coming to visit friends.

This property was perfect! This home was very clean, beautifully decorated with the most amazing view of the lake. The space had everything we needed. The bed was so comfortable. This VRBO rental was the last stop after a week long trip and it was a great place to land! Beautiful view of the lake from inside the house or out on the lawn, well furnished with huge comfortable bed, very cute kitchen and bathroom. Owner provided loads of entertainment options like books and games, and extra information about nearby shopping, food, and activities. This place was fantastic!

My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. Theresa and her family made us feel right at home and always greeted us whenever we were around. The house was very comfortable but the best thing was being right on the water! It was beautiful to get up and look at!

My wife and I spent 5 lovely days at this property. The owners were easy to contact for any needs. Had no issues. Well appointed, kitchen had everything you need to make meals, large walk in shower and comfortable bed! Has a washer/dryer combo if needed. Even had nice cozy bath robes. Also the electric fireplace was nice for the cool evenings. If you need to be in the Federal Way area you will not be disappointed. All this and a beautiful lake with nesting eagles right out the front door. when we are back in the area this will be the first place we will try to get! Run don't walk to reserve this property.

This was a wonderful spot for a short work trip. So much better than staying in a hotel! Exactly as described in the listing, great communication with owner, comfy bed, cozy fireplace. Nearby amenities for groceries etc., easy parking and in/out access. Beautiful view of small neighborhood lake and the rain even held off my first day so I could sit by the shore! Owner was very accommodating with the possibility of me needing to extend my stay by a night and flexible with my unknown departure. Highly recommend!!!

Had all the basics needed for a short stay, was clean with nice furniture and a kitchen that had typically used appliances and kitchenware. Gas fireplace was cozy and great on chilly evenings. Would stay here again.
