About this cabin rental
Located in Bailey, this charming cabin for $259 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. A heavy four wheel drive is required in the winter months! Our cabin is a comfortable three bedrooms and two full bathrooms only one hour from Denver! Fully equipped and ready for your family get away, your four-wheeler retreat, or your group trip to Redrocks! We limit to four adults and up to four kids and our minimum age renter is 30. The cabin borders Pike National Forest and is adjacent to Slaughterhouse Four-Wheel trail. There is a beautiful wood-burning stove in the living room. A large flat screen TV, internet access, and comfortable spaces make this a perfect place to relax. Two bedrooms have king-sized beds and the third bedroom has two sets of twin bunk-beds. Because our family of five loves to spend time here, the house has all of the comforts of home. From high-end cookware and knives to leather couches and luxury bedding. An outdoor grill and picnic table and four comfortable deck chairs to take in the mountain air and the amazing shooting stars at night! You can walk right out our back door into one million acres of Pike National Forest! There are countless things to do nearby - from amazing hiking trails and waterfalls to concerts at RedRocks a short 35 minutes away! You will love your time here and we love sharing this magical place with new friends!

This home is amazing. Please listen to the host when they say you need 4WD to get to the property in the winter. Our 4WD truck got stuck and we had to use chains, so plan properly. Also be ready for the neighbor down the hill to laugh at you and record if you get stuck.
The house itself is amazing. Lots of windows and great views. Very spacious and lots of games and puzzles available for family time. Host is very responsive to messages.

We are a family of 4 (including 2 teen girls 16 & 19). This great cabin gave them the room to be "away from parents" instead of stuck in a hotel room with us. So, it goes without saying, the internet works. Tony is quick to respond & very communicative. Their home is very comfortable with everything we needed. We even made use of their little piano, game & puzzles. It took awhile for my husband to figure out the classic Starbucks espresso machine, but he conquered it & made great drinks! We were there during an Aug heat wave, but the cabin stays cool despite not having AC with nice breeze. A couple nice neighbors, but feels secluded & safe. I'd say a 4-wheeler is best even during non-winter seasons. Getting places may seem slow-going because of winding roads, but we went all over from this location: airport, Red Rocks, Evergreen, Colorado Springs (Garden of Gods), Treehouse Adventures in Bailey is great! We ate at Crossroads Pub & Grill, great food/service. We really enjoyed our stay

We had a wonderful stay at Tony’s beautiful mountain cabin. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 to hang out together and room for teens and adults to do their own things. Kitchen was the best stocked VBRO we’ve ever stayed at. Beds we’re comfortable and there were plenty of bath towels. Check in and Check out directions were easy and well communicated as well. Tony was a very responsive host from start to finish.

The cabin was a perfect location for trip. We were able to use it as a great landing point for our adventures in CO. The house had plenty of room for our kids.

We weren't told the house was above 9000 elevation. I got sick with altitude sickness. The road up to the house was rutted with one especially deep rut that had to be maneuvered around. The water heater allowed only one shower, then had to have time to reheat. The owners personal clothes were in the closets and I had to move them to make room for ours in one closet and the bathroom closet was full of their things; such as alcohol.

Had an amazing stay for the weekend. Tony is a great host. The indoor fireplace (once we figured it out) was great. Kitchen was clean and very useful. Deck with grill and hummingbird was perfect in the morning to watch the sunrise. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in what we began to refer to as “The Tree House” because you feel as though you’re up in the trees when looking out the large, many windows upstairs. I think we could spot one other house way out on another hill, other than that, we were in paradise alone. The house is comfortable and well appointed. We loved that this wasn’t a traditional tourist destination, just lots of wilderness. We had a 4 wheel drive so we went off roading a few times about 1/4 mile from the house, that was fun. The kitchen was great to work in and had everything we needed since there aren’t really restaurants close by. We enjoyed a movie at night in the comfortable TV room and the proximity to Denver is perfect; 1 hour to the airport, 45 minutes to my neice’s home so she came up one day for some hiking. We loved it so much we are now thinking of making this place a “thing” for us.

I can’t say enough great things about this home! We wanted for nothing and enjoyed the experience of the mountains. The view is beautiful from the home! Tony was great to work with. We didn’t have any issues with the home. My daughter left her wallet in one of the bedrooms. We were already at the airport knowing there would be no way to get back to the house and airport on time. Tony was gracious enough to send it to us in the mail. Thank you Tony for opening your home to our family. We will definitely be back.
