Lanlan is very well located just a 10 mn walk south of Kyoto station, but in a mostly residential and very quiet area. Very convenient if you arrive / leave by Shinkansen. Also, there are several bus lines just 50 m away which take you directly to some of the iconic temples and sites on the city's eastern site. There are also nice restaurants within a 10 mn walk radius (sushi, okonomiyake, etc) as well as supermarkets. The family who runs Lanlan lives there, they are very nice and helpful, and give access to a shared kitchen where we did take our breakfast.

Peaceful surroundings and proximity to Kyoto station. The line of sakura trees right beside the apartment is definitely a bonus! We also appreciate the kind hospitality of the hosts - they provided us with additional pillows and allowed us a later check-out. Thank you!
