The cottage was in a good location for us, close to the park but not in the "busyness" of Bar Harbor. The kitchen had everthing we needed to prepare our meals, and the beds were all super comfy.

We had a great stay at this property and it was within easy traveling distance by car to many attractions both on and off of Mt Desert Island. The house was well furnished and immaculately kept. Beds were incredibly comfortable and big! We had a little difficulty with Vacasa sending us the entry code but our host June was very helpful with solving that issue. We would definitely stay her again!

This cottage is just as described. Best beds we've ever had in a vacation rental - very comfortable with quality linens. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you would need. Private and quiet surroundings, yet handy to all of Acadia National Park and the Downeast areas. Hostess was always available and very helpful with any questions we had. Nice-sized yard with screened gazebo as well as a good-sized deck. Lots of DVDs, books, and games for rainy days. A great space for small or larger groups looking for a comfortable, roomy place to call home while exploring the coast of Maine.

We had a wonderful stay at Goose Cove Cottage during the peak of foliage season. From the amazing surprise welcome package, spacious clean rooms, well-stocked kitchen and all sorts of little extras, the cottage far surpassed our expectations. Thanks June for an incredible Maine experience!

The property was very nice and well stocked. June left us a welcome package with products from Maine which was awesome. The location was good to restaurants and Acadia which we spent most of our time at. June was very easy to communicate with. Would highly recommend this rental property.

The price can't be beat for what you get and location, and there is a bakery with great coffee just down the road. Not far from grocery stores and restaurants. Near Mt. Desert Island and all there is to do there and in other directions as well.

The property is very well maintained and in a nice location. Closes enough to everything to be convenient but still far enough to be able to relax. June was easy to communicate with and knowledgeable of the area. Would definitely stay again.

This cottage is absolutely lovely. Our stay was short but the property manager was prompt and responsive. The bedrooms are large, the home is well maintained and feels warm and welcoming. We had great weather for our stay so we were mostly on hikes and taking in the Acadia scenery. Kitchen was well stocked with the essentials and the beds were comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area. Thank you for the great memories.

This is an excellent place for a family to stay. Some rentals I've stayed at previously would leave you half a roll of toilet paper and that's it. June has thought of everything and then some. We were even surprised by some goodies that the kids really liked. June is a great communicator and really took care of us, even remotely!The spot is secluded, which is good, and it also benefits by being not far from anywhere you likely want to be. We have two kids under 10, so access to the big stores in Ellsworth, especially Hannaford, was really nice. MDI is jus a hop over the little bridges, so no problems there either.The place was spotless and it is well appointed. I wish I could have spent more time in the Gazebo, but that's my fault. :) The linens and towels are great and the beds are excellent. The lamps are beautiful. I could go on, but I think you get the point. This cottage is well taken care of by an owner who clearly loves the cottage. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with a stay here.

Lovely House!
The bedrooms were a little larger than expected. Furniture appeared to be solid oak and in like new shape. The bathrooms were renovated/modern and clean. It's about a 15-20min drive to Bar Harbor. Not bad! Nice gazebo area with screens/storm windows installed. The kitchen was stocked with utensils, pots and pans and the basics. The owner left some goodies/breakfast for us. It was like staying at a B&B without someone there to actually make you breakfast.

Great location - Wonderful trip
We had a wonderful stay in June's cottage. The house was exactly as described and worked great for our visit to Acadia National Park. We enjoyed hiking and exploring during the day and coming home to the cottage for movie or game night each evening. (She has a great selection of movies and games to choose from.). Thank you for a wonderful stay, great location, and lovely house for our vacation!

Beautiful Goose Cove Cottage
We just spent a week in Mane and stayed at the precious Goose Cove Cottage! It is an absolutely beautiful home, with lots of room for a large family! The cottage is so tastefully decorated and you will feel like you are at home! Outside, is a wonderful gazebo to sit and rest after a long day. The owner is outstanding to work with, she has put so much pride and care into the cottage. She made several recommendations for us on things to do, places to buy food, etc. She has thought of everything, lots of videos and games for everyone. The property sits in a very quiet area, we saw deer a couple of days. The cottage is within 10 minutes of the airport, close to several great eating places, and Ellsworth is a short drive away to plenty of food stores. I hope we can visit again! You will not be disappointed!

June has thought of every amenity a guest could. The comment from each of us is “just right for our needs and more. The nenes were super comfy (just right), the kitchen well equipped (just right), and the living spaces were (you guessed it) just right, including a deck which was just right for yoga and a gazebo which was just right for cards late into the night! I will definitely recommend and if we are fortunate enough to return, will try to book another stay.

Goose Cottage is a great hopping off point for doing all things on the coast of Maine! June, the owner, and her team made sure we felt SUPER welcomed and her home is very comfortable and super clean! She was also very helpful about pointing out local resources for various food questions. Super modern appliances and Audio/Visual equipment are available along a mind-bending array of DVDs for any rainy days. Beds and linens are super comfortable and everything was spic and span. The back deck is just incredibly comfortable and I think we spent almost every evening out there after we got back from our adventures each day. We were able to tool around MDI, Acadia National Park, visit Bar Harbor, the Schoodic Peninsula, and we had a shockingly good experience with a whale watch tour. If Covid were not an issue, we could have even gone all the way to see the Roosevelt home in Canada, Campobello International Park. The home feels tremendously secluded without being too far away from anything. I cannot say enough good things about Goose Cottage and June as the owner of this property!
