A lot of issues and wasted time

Avoid this one - as there are plenty of other good places around We have had a very good experience with the people managing Vilacanta, and they have been helpful in resolving some issues. Unfortunately, the individual units are maintained separately from the overall Vilacanta complex. This particular unit seems to be very poorly maintained and poorly equipped as a separate entity.

Unfortunately - the Beach is very rough. A lot of sharp stones on the shoreline with irregular seabed that tends to generate lots of waves. Tends to be very windy and popular for kite surfing The advertising pictures shows sun-beds within the pool area which is not the case. Sun-beds on the beach are separate from the vilacanta (additional charge) The pool area tends to be overcrowded. Same for the restaurants within the complex. This is mainly due to lack of choices around. The property itself hasn’t been clean properly with a lot of issues with funny smell from the aircon and many other maintenance issues that just waisted a lot of our time
