Located in Morganton, this charming cottage for $67 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Rustic flair meets traditional elegance in this cozy country home. Nestled in a quiet Residential Neighborhood just minutes to historic downtown Blue Ridge and Lake Blue Ridge Public Beach @ Morganton Point Recreational Area. While most things are brand-new there are several things that are also time-honored with lots of charm in this modern Farmhouse. Our 3 bedroom/2 bath home is graced by surrounding mountains. Custom kitchen, plentiful windows, natural and painted wood interior all keep it light and cozy. Please Note ‼ ***Please also understand that the low sloped ceiling in the upstairs bathroom (though very common in a home this age) may not be comfortable for some guests Take a stroll through our picturesque garden area while breathing in the fresh Mountain Air. Spacious deck invites you to sit and relax while enjoying your favorite drink. Quite neighborhood.... a pleasant 8 minute drive to the heart of downtown Blue Ridge. Lake access, boat ramp, beach and beautiful sunsets are just around the corner at Morganton Point Recreational Area. All roads are paved and grant easy access. You can enjoy seasonal views of the surrounding mountians and lake when walking around the block. Child ready: A pack and play, umbrella stroller and safety gate are available for use. There are also toys and books for the little ones as well as BOARD GAMES FOR ADULTS AND TEENS. Going to the Beach: Two beach chairs, beach towels for 6 guests and beach bag are available for use. Pantry Items: We provide salt, pepper, sugar, olive oil, a starter coffee brick with coffee pot filters. As well as different teas to enjoy. Enough Paper towels and toilet paper to last for a long weekend. Hotel Amenities: We offer high-end hotel sized shampoos conditioners as well as body wash and lotion. A blow dryer is available for use and located in the vanity of each bathroom. Love this home but it's not available for your requested dates? see our other home around the corner......" Storybook Cottage" We specifically bought this home around the corner to host our larger family gatherings and offer this option to our guests.

This home was very cozy and perfect for myself and my kids. My 8 year old special needs son usually doesn’t sleep through the night when we’re away from home so him sleeping the time we were there says a lot! And so this momma was able to get some rest as well! Thank you for the welcome snacks!

Our stay at “The Little Farmhouse” was exactly what our family needed. We had our 3, 9, & 13 year old with us. The beds were very comfortable. The 3 year old, who does not always do well away from home, slept really well. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The property was clean. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and using the grill. The appliances are great. Communication with the owners was always quick. The internet was super fast. Even though we didn’t get a chance to use them, they had extra items like toys, board games, a playpen, and beach chairs. The property is close to so many things to do in the area. We didn’t get to everything we wanted. I hope we have a chance to visit again.

We were in town for a softball tournament, and the farm house was less than 15 minutes away from the park - so it was super convenient. We had everything we needed, and enjoyed our stay very much! It inspired me to want to build my own little farm house. Loved how quaint it was, and my girls enjoyed having their own rooms upstairs. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Cute renovated house! It is a little small downstairs but you get used to it and then it begins to feel cozy. Beautiful back deck to sit and relax. Quiet neighborhood, and not too far from downtown activities.

Location was convenient and easy. We rolled up the kitchen runner and moved it while there as several of us kept tripping on it. Bumped my head a few times on the sloped ceilings. Felt like I had to walk around with my head ducked. Other than that, very nice place. We enjoyed being able to visit.

My friends and I had a wonderful relaxing time at the charming farmhouse. We loved the decoration and the view of the forest from the back deck.

Easy to find and get to, easy access to front door, throughout house and walk in shower. Had everything we needed. Beautiful views. The bed and bedding were some of the most comfortable we've ever slept on... and that's a lot considering we are over 80 yrs old!
The only trouble we had is that we are not "Streaming" knowledgable. We managed but couldnt find our normal regular channels such as CBS, ABC, etc. We also enjoyed the surrounding area with so much beauty everywhere.

Omg where can I start besides the house and area was perfect itself. Then David and Mary had everything you could possibly need at their cottage for your stay, besides any extra you needed. I was there away from home on a transformation journey into forever peace and change. No better place or timing per God than the time of my stay. Thank you all from the botom of my heart in opening up your home as you normally do, but not knowing this was a life chamging moment for someone. We were four sisters/sisters-in law getting away for the weekend and picked this place based on budget and wanting something a little more cozy. All of the details were in place, very clean, just as described! One sister-in-law used the upstairs tub/shower wand, and the rest of us shared the downstairs shower. It didn't cause any issues for us. A couple of suggestions... a full length mirror would have been nice (unless we just couldn't find it), as well as having towels/wash cloths ready in the upstairs bathroom. But really, no complaints! The location was perfect for shopping and eating in Blue Ridge, about a 10 minute drive. We had excellent communication with the owner and she graciously worked with us for an earlier check in time. We would definitely stay here again if we get back to the area.

The house was super cute and cozy with nice views of the mountains. The home is definitely more of a mountain house than advertised in the photos which I was very happy about.It came very well stocked and is a little less than ten minutes from the nearest grocery store. The host responded within minutes and was very kind and helpful. The only issue was that the dishwasher isn't great, but otherwise everything was wonderful.

My daughters and I spent the weekend for my birthday here. We’ve used several different VRBO homes over the years from New York to Nantucket, Florida to North Carolina and this little Farm house is now our favorite! Very clean, cozy with plenty of room. We’ll be returning!

My husband and I came up for a quiet weekend away. The process to check in and out we’re very smooth. The property was clean and cozy. We could have had more guests as there are 2 additional rooms upstairs. Very nice property for couples or a few couples.
