Located in Morganton, this charming cabin for $233 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Escape to Backwoods Retreat - a secluded mountain hideaway with fabulous mountain views! Private gated property on 7 acres is conveniently located near Blue Ridge. Step right in to nature and enjoy outdoor living complete with wood burning fireplace, covered porch and 65" HDTV. Tri-level floor plan with bedroom and full bath on each level. Open the door and be blown away with the expansive view from the wall of windows. Open floor plan allows perfect gathering spot for family and friends. The family room has a gas log fireplace, 55' HDTV, fully equipped kitchen and separate dining area. The main level queen bedroom connects to a large bathroom that includes a soaker tub and a separate walk in - roll in shower that is wheelchair accessible. Upstairs is the romantic king master suite with its own private balcony. You can even enjoy a view from the large, rustic walk in shower in the master bathroom. The lower level has a queen bedroom, full bath, family room, gas log fireplace, 55' HDTV, a wet bar and wine refrigerator. Cabin access is ADA compliant and the main level bathroom is wheelchair accessible.Full house generator

This was the most amazing cabin, we loved the cleanliness, the attention to detail in the decor of the house. It is secluded and peaceful, there is nothing missing as far as the utensils and amenities.
The promptness in the response of the owners was great. Susan, the housekeeper is awesome and very sweet. It was a great stay too bad it was not longer but, we will be back.

This has to be one of our favorite cabin rentals, ever. The house is beautiful, clean, well stocked, perfectly located, great views, comfy beds, huge bathrooms. Just wonderful. I am very particular about cleanliness with rentals, and this was super clean - making it easy to relax and unwind. We had the most relaxing and wonderful Christmas holiday at A Slice of Heaven. Our family is already planning dates to come back next year.

We had the opportunity to spend Thanksgiving week at “A Slice of Heaven”. All of the communication was helpful and informative. The “Cabin” is first class accommodations with a very private and serene setting with the huge window and deck facing West for incredible sunsets. Everything was immaculately cleaned and ready for us when we walked in the door - even a thoughtful welcoming note and gift. The kitchen is well appointed and extremely useful. Close proximity to both Blue Ridge and Blairsville for anything you may want or need. We will be back!

Weo love this Cabin!!! This was our 2nd stay here and love the location and privacy. Hope has all the amenities we like and the best stocked kitchen we have ever used. As a Chef I appreciate good pans and knives and was not disappointed. We will definitely be back!

We had an amazing time, came the day after Christmas and left New Year’s Day. The fire places are amazing! Super clean! Beautiful craftsmanship and detail everywhere you look! Made us feel super cozy and at home! The deer feeding station my six year old loved! Also awesome family games! Thanks for sharing your Slice of Heaven!

Lovely property. The house is initially a little changeling to find, but once you figure it out it is fine. The main floor is fully accessible! There was even a shower chair for us to use. The upstairs shower has a beautiful view of the mountains. Home was very well stocked, nice kitchen equipment. This is one of the nicest properties we have rented.

The home is family friendly for the young and old. The main floor is easily accessible and handicap friendly. My 89 and 88 year old parents were impressed with the accommodations made seemingly just for them. Our grandchildren ages1, 5, and 9 enjoyed the entire house, views, porches, game table, and outdoors. This house is great for a three couple retreat, and a relaxing family friendly mountain getaway for all ages.

Amazing house with beautiful views
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The house is lovely and the views from the house were stunning. The house feels secluded but is close enough to Blue Ridge that you can easily partake of the great restaurants and hiking trails in the area.

Very impressed with A Slice of Heaven cabin. Enjoyed our stay with beautiful views and very nice and comfortable cabin, as well as sites of turkey and deer. Cabin stocked with all the amenities. Easy access to Blue Ridge snd Blairsville. Would definitely stay there again.

Property-Amazing!
Location, amenities (darts, card table, sitting areas, outdoor fireplace), the “cave” shower was so much fun, really all aspects were perfect!
You didn’t have a bad view from any place in the house.
Our family had the best time on this vacation. We will be heading back for sure. Hosts were easy to contact and very responsive.
