Situated in West Pennington, this attractive cabin for $288 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. FALL/WINTER SPECIAL - During the off season (Dec thru March, excluding holidays) you can rent for only $175 per night for up to 4 people with a stay of 3 or more nights (each additional guest is only $20 per night). It is strongly recommended that you have a 4-wheel drive vehicle during the winter season (October thru April). UPDATE; We now have wifi at the cabin and free long distance calling. Come enjoy our beautiful log home centrally located in the Black Hills 9 miles west of Hill City, SD. It is a secluded location where deer, elk, turkey, birds and other wildlife live and roam. It is open year round and has a hot tub for one of those romantic getaways or to use after a long day of snowmobiling, four-wheeling, horse-back riding, hiking or hunting. Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Custer State Park, Bear Country USA, Reptile Gardens, Deerfield Lake, Wind Cave National Park, Deadwood and numerous caves Nearby activities include: hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, biking, hiking, horse back riding and much more NOTE: We do have Security cameras on the front and back of the cabin for security purposes. The camera in the front is located under the front deck and points out towards the driveway (away from the cabin). The camera at the back of the property is located on the bottom side of the back of the deck and is pointing away from the hot tub towards the back of the property (we can not see anything in the hot tub itself.). This is a Smoke free cabin and no pets are allowed!!

Our family of five (kids 8,12,14) enjoyed our stay at this cabin. We appreciated how clean that it was. Check out was a little early for our family but overall the stay was good and we would definitely stay again.

Went with family and had a great time- close enough to all the things the black hills has to offer but far enough away to be away from all the noise. Lots of wildlife in the area and great access to public lands.

Cabin was as advertised. Fully stocked with the necessities. Owner communicated very well. We didn't use the hot tub (not hot tub fans) but had a great time playing foosball in the rec room. The central location in the Hills fit in very well with our travel plans. Loved the rustic ambience of a true log home but with all the modern conveniences.

We stayed for 3 days! This property is out in the country about 15 minutes from the nearest town. There’s no close neighbors and the wildlife roams free. It’s quite peaceful!

It was nice to stay in the central part of the Hills to take in all areas of attractions and things to do. The house was clean and comfortable. The hot tub was hot upon arrival and worked great. The seating for the living room was not as user friendly but it was just 4 of us so it was satisfactory. Was great to have a bath on every level! Very nice property with comfortable amenities! Would stay there again!

This is the 3rd time myself and family have had the opportunity to stay a few night at this cabin and each one has been fantastic. We love the location as it is close enough but also far away enough from Hill City for us to continue hunting the same BH’s areas we have for decades. Thanks to Jerome & Barb once again!

Cleanest place ever. Location was perfect for us. We were there to go 4 wheeling and it went great. Jerome made sure when we arrived that every thing was ok. Beautiful layout of the cabin with plenty of room. 6 stars from me!!

Views were incredible! Hot tub was nice. Overall good place to stay, except for no toaster when we first arrived, not enough towels supplied and uncomfortable furniture to relax and watch movies.

We enjoyed the family vacation. Kids had a great time. Toured, games, hot tub. Pooped out the kids for sure. Moms and dads also. Watched deer daily. Seen big herd of elk. Maybe 30 all bunched. Granddaughter said “ we don’t see deer off our deck in Minneapolis “ . Would stay there again!!!

This cabin was just perfect. We had six adults and two kids: three and under; the layout was amazing. There are three levels, with the bathroom and queen beds on each. We stayed in the basement with our two kids and it was so dark and quiet they rested well each night. To say the kitchen is well stocked is an understatement. They had everything we needed and then some. Muffin tray, can openers, everything for the grill, slow cooker‘s… you name it. We loved seeing the wildlife in the morning, and the cabin is very private, away from other properties and very little road noise, and accessible to Hill city, Keystone, etc.. They had plenty of games and activities that my daughters loved using (The dominos!) and there was plenty of seating, counter space, and yard room for all sorts of games and fellowship with family. It was truly a great stay and all the instructions were very clear and easy to use. We did not use the hot tub as it smelled pretty strong of chlorine, but even then the instructions were clear and it’s obvious people used it in the past and enjoyed it based on the guestbook. Would definitely recommend for large groups
